Just come home {Part Two} ~Natasha Romanoff~

Summary: The Avengers go to the a  reopened Hydra base to try and retrieve a file on Y/N, not realizing they were going to be coming back with both Y/N and the Winter Soldier.

Natasha's POV:
Natasha walks into the jet and is immediately greeted by Steve. "Hey Nat. Are you ok to do this?" She nods, and the jet begins its takes off. Clint walks over to Nat and sits down next to her. "Do you think we'll find the file?" She asks him hopefully. He puts his arm over her shoulder and hugs her softly. "I sure hope so. Otherwise we'd be getting into one big problem. And by that I mean running right straight into a Hydra base." She smiles lightly and looks at him. He smiles back and says, "We're going to find them, ok?" She nods, and he gets up to do his own thing and she gets up to join Tony up at the center controls. She sits down next to him.

"You sure you're up for this Romanoff?" He asks her, but before she can say anything, Steve chimes in from behind both of them. "Of course she can Tony. She's both a girl and a highly trained assassin. If anything she should be asking us if we are ok with this." Nat laughed a little at that. Wanda walks over and sits next to her. "No kidding. If anything she's taken some of the hardest hits of all of us." By this time, Nat had to intervene. "Guys, I'm just fine. Don't worry about me. This is great. For the first time in a year, we've finally found a lead on Y/N that could actually prove helpful." Clint says back, "Yeah, because all the other ones were such a bust TONY." That one made everyone laugh, except for Tony.

"Keep your mouth shut Mr. Archer. Unless you want to enlighten us with your non-existent love life? Oh wait, you just decided to keep it a secret from all of us. Never mind." This childish bickering between the team went on the rest of the trip to the Hydra base, and no matter what, the girls could not get the guys to shut up. They were nearing their destination, and Nat gets everyone's attention. "Everyone shut up. I think this is it." They gather around the window, and Tony says, "It's go time." Steve says after him, "Avengers, assemble."

Later, in Y/N's POV:
They lay down on their cot, thinking about everything. They think about Natasha, their girlfriend. "She's probably forgotten about her and moved on by now. It's been a year." They think to themselves. Even though Hydra tried to brainwash Y/N, the process went wrong, and Y/N still had their memories. Did Hydra know that? Absolutely not. The less they know, the better. And besides, Y/N wasn't going to make a slip up and get their memories robbed from them. There's a rattling of a door handle, and Y/N gets up and out of their chair.

The door bursted open, and Strucker stormed in. Y/N had never seen him walk with such purpose. "The Avengers are here for you and the Winter Soldier. You and him must take them down." Strucker said, not even paying attention to the state Y/N was in, i.e. their hair messy, in ratty clothes, their cheeks stained with tears and dry blood. The door slammed shut again, and Y/N scrambled to get ready in case Natasha was taken along for the ride. They get into their suit and leave their room. They see the Winter Soldier, and start walking with him to the nearest exit that would take them both to the outdoors, and see the Avengers.

Meanwhile, in Nat's POV:
After a few hours of being in the air, they land in a remote area deep in the Andes mountains. Most of the team gets out and comes face to face with the Winter Soldier and the Scorpion. Meanwhile, Nat is still in the jet talking herself through it. "You'll be ok. You've got this." She finishes certain aspects of her suit and steps out of the jet. She looks into the masked eyes of the Scorpion and says. "Alright. Who's going to surrender the Y/N file first?" There was an audible gasp inside the Scorpion's mask, and everyone was confused.

They took off their mask and threw it on the ground, and everyone was taken back at what they saw. They threw down their weapon and ran to Nat, who was still in shock. "Y-Y/N?" She said, Y/N ran into Nat's arms, the two of them nearly toppling over into the cold mountain snow. The Winter Soldier threw his mask off as well and stomped angrily towards the two of them, but he was stopped by Steve and Tony. Steve immediately recognizes him and says, "Bucky?!" The Winter Soldier did not take well to that, because he says, "Who the hell is B-" but everything seemed to click very quickly. "S-Steve?"

Y/N finally lets go of Nat and looks into her tear-stained eyes. "I thought you'd forgotten about me by now." Nat laughs in disbelief. "That is a theory that will never, and I mean never, come to pass. I love you Y/N. And I always will." Y/N smiles, and leans into Nat and kisses her. "I love you too Nat. Now before we forget," They say into the circle of the Avengers. "What do you say we take down some Hydra assholes?"
