Summary: Loki does his investigating and finds out something Kai was planning on telling him, but hadn't just yet.

Loki's POV:
I grab my things and look out the window. Kai is already out of sight, but I think it would be a good idea to wait a few more minutes before tailing them. After a few minutes have passed, I step out the door and shut it behind me. As I try to imitate Kai's path towards their moms house, I run into Lady Sif. Well, she runs into me. "Loki? Where are you going with such purpose?" She asks.
"Something's going on with Kai. They've been having these dizzy spells, or whatever she calls them. And she gets them a lot. And not only that, after one of these dizzy spells, they fell to the ground and when she looked at me, her eyes changed colors to red, not their usual color." Lady Sif thinks for a second and then says, "Alright, well where are they now?"
"She's at her mom's place. Said that she needed to see their mom now more than ever." She has a puzzled look on her face as she says, "That's odd. We need to figure out what's going on. I'm started to get concerned with this whole situation." I nod at her, and we both try to find where Kai's mom's house is.
We eventually find it, but it's in the weirdest place ever. It's a small cottage in some random forest, with a small door and two windows on each side. I look at Sif, and she gives me a nod, so we're obviously thinking the same thing. She takes one window and I take the other, peering into the creepy cottage.
"And how long did you say this was happening?" A woman says, walking into the main living area. I see that it's Kai's mom, and Kai is following close behind her. "About a week. Maybe more." Their mom hands them a tea cup, and they sit down in chairs close to and facing each other. "Do you think it has something to do with the full moon?" Kai asks. I look at Sif, and she's looking at me confused. I return the look, and turn my attention back to my girlfriend.
Her mom sets her tea cup on a table in front of the two of them and says, "It's possible... though I'm not sure sweetheart. Give me your hands." Kai puts the tea cup down and puts her arms out, their forearms facing the ceiling. Their mom takes the bottoms of her palms and grabs onto Kai's forearms, her palms facing the floor. Closing her eyes, I can see her muttering something, and then her eyes snap open.
"Mama? Are you ok?" Kai asks with panic in her voice. Her mom breathes heavily for a second before responding."I'm alright sweetheart... They were all just talking in my ear at once is all." She laughs lightly, and Kai laughs with her. I blink my eyes and try to think about what I just heard. "What are they talking about?" I think to myself. "Let me try again. If I get this right, you'll be able to talk to them too." Her mom puts her hands back on Kai's forearms, and closes her eyes.
After staying silent and sitting there for around a minute, Kai begins to get impatient. They shift in their seat and their mom grips onto her forearms. "I can't do this if you're moving." She smiles awkwardly. "Sorry Mama. Just a little impatient." After another minute, their mom begins to speak more clearly, raising her voice with each word. Even though she was speaking loudly I couldn't understand what she was saying.
Their mom's grip seems to get increasingly strong on Kai's arms, and then she eases up. She yells a word, and Kai's eyes open widely, glowing in a dark colored light that bordered on yellow and orange. Her mom let go of her arms and stepped backward. Kai dropped to the floor groaning, and holding their head in their hands.
