Death's Alternate (A Kane Chronicles x PJO FanFic [Nico di Angelo meets Anubis])

Hello everyone! This is a PJO x Kane Chronicles fanfiction. It will stay mostly in third-person in Nico's view (however, it may switch to first person sometimes). This is inspired by @Pey119's fanfiction called Death's Son (And All Its Perks). The beginning may be very similar to them, but the plot will be much different once it gets going. Some concepts may be similar as well. (I suppose this is also a fan fiction of those fan fictions, too, haha.) If it seems too similar to those (but please wait until it gets a few chapters [like 3] in to judge it), please let me know in a comment and I will do my best to change it without messing up the plot.

Note: Some personalities and actions may be changed, along with the majority of the plot points. This will work as if the Kane Chronicles Books 2-3 and Heroes of Olympus will take place at the same time.

There will probably be Solangelo because I want this to be as canon as possible, but this is not a fluff (is it called that?) fanfiction. This will mostly focus on the friendship / interactions between Nico di Angelo and Anubis, along with the story.

While at the same time, Sanubis (Sadie x Anubis, I don't know what isn't normally called) may have a few moments. I'm not 100% sure about that beginning out.

Second Note: This fanfiction has an OC of mine in it. They have a decently-sized role in the story, but they are mostly for moral support and fight scenes. Here is their description and backstory!

Name: Sora Angevin

Gender: Girl

Age: 15 (she is chronologically 6000+ years old)

Height: 5'5" (I just chose random numbers haha)

Eye Color: Hazel Brown with glints of gold

Hair Color: Black with streaks of hazel brown and yellow

Skin Color: Creamy-colored

Appearance: Wears a mottled camouflage cloak, simple gray tunic and black leggings with brown combat boots. Hair has tiny braids in it.

Backstory:

Sora was born to two loving human parents. One day, four warriors with special powers came into her house and captured her parents, leaving her to fend for herself until four other good warriors came and saved her. She was traveled to another world where she trained with those four warriors to become a skilled warrior. She learned that she was a world-jumper, meaning that she was part of many different worlds and had powers from each one. She left the warriors and went to another one where she was part of several wars. Because time is different in certain worlds, 6000 years have passed in that world, but only 8 years in some of the other worlds. She has now travelled to the mythological world, where she has become great friends with the Greek demigods. She acts as Nico di Angelo and Anubis' adoptive older sister, protecting them from almost everything.

More recently (give or take 2000 years before TLT), the gods from every mythology came together, each god giving her a part of their power. She gained the title of the Gifted of the Gods, and the power from those gods would be activated within her if a time of war arose between the gods. She is very powerful, but prefers not to use abilities and relies more on melee fighting.

Crushes: None. She has decided to never have a romantic relationship until a certain point in her life has been reached and she does not have to worry about danger.
