"You're telling me that Greek gods exist?" Felix exclaimed. The only magicians that had known that Nico was a demigod were Sadie, Carter, Walt, and Zia. Leo gave Nico a triumphant look that said, see, I'm not the only surprised one.
"Yeah. Why didn't you tell us about this?" Alyssa asked, a worried expression on her face. Carter and Sadie shared a look. "If we have to be honest, we didn't know much about it either," Carter confessed. "We didn't ask much about it."
"Though we should have," Sadie muttered under her breath. She shook her head. "Anyways, Anubis," she put emphasis on the name. "You said the demigods needed our help. What do you need?" Nico shot a glare at her.
Percy stepped up, explaining the prophecy and past events, with Annabeth popping in to fix whatever words were said "idiotically incorrect", according to her.
By the end of the explanation, all the magicians were looking at us with obnoxiously shocked faces. "You expect us to be able to find a way to close a random door that keeps death from not working?" Sadie asked, raising an eyebrow.Leo shrugged. "Ask Nico or Anubis over there. They seemed the most knowledgeable on the subject of death or whatever." Nico glowered at him, but Leo kept a simple smirk pasted on his face. Nico sighed, his stature becoming more formal. "I was thinking that perhaps a layer of the Duat overlaps with Tartarus. Then maybe it would be a bit easier to get through, or I guess get into Tartarus," Anubis explained, yet his expression was doubtful.
Sora gave a short nod. "I wouldn't be surprised if that was true. However..." she trailed off. "Who's going to close the Doors of Death on that side?"
Nico shuddered. Sora wrapped him up in a half hug. Percy raised his hand. "I'll go. I was supposed to fall into Tartarus with Annabeth. Chances are, that's what the Fates wanted to happen." Annabeth tentatively nodded.
"I'll go with them," Sadie volunteered. "It seems this rubbish death business is important. It may affect our eventually upcoming battle with Apophis."
"I'll accompany you in the Duat," Anubis said. Sora nodded. "See you on the other side."

A/N This has a lot of timeskips, I know. Now... what is coming up next is a scene that is changed by me for the purposes of this fanfiction. This fanfiction is shorter than my SoTam fanfiction because of the plot I intend to add in the sequel.

Edited Cupid Scene:
Characters in scene: Jason Grace, Nico di Angelo / Anubis, Sora Angevin, Sadie Kane, Carter Kane
A/N Sora teleported herself and Sadie back to the Argo II once Percy and Annabeth had found their way into Tartarus.
"Leave him alone!" Sora yelled, summoning her Stygian iron sword from the Duat (please note that she knows the Egyptians and Greeks). "You have no business messing with my brother!"
"No business? Anything to do with love is my business," Cupid retorted, shooting an arrow into Nico's forearm. He let out a roar of agony and anger. "Enough games! What do you want?!" Anubis took over.
The arrow dissolved in a couple seconds. Sadie raised her staff waryingly, stepping a few steps back. "Tell them, Nico di Angelo, why you left both camps. Why you're always alone. Why you skulk with the dead instead of the living," Cupid commanded, sending two more arrows in their direction.
