The Experiment

Chapter 4:

Iris POV

We walked into the back of the helecopter. I see Barbra and Jennifer talking while Daniel and Jason were   flying the copter. When me and Nathon came in the girls looked at me curiously.

" Who is she" Jennifer asked. " Her name is Iris" Nathon answered her question. They girls looked at me and then Nathon and said in unison " so what are we going to do with her"?

" Let her join of course". 

"What but she is not even a real person". Well that was sting now wasn't it I thought sourly.

" You haven't even heard my side of my story." They looked at me as if I just got here and bardged into their conversation.

Then what is it ? Nathon asked.

I looked down to the ground then looked up and I don't even know what they saw but it shocked them greatly. All I felt was fear and hate at the scientist and with those emotions I start telling my story.

Nathon's POV

" Then what is it" I asked. 

I see Iris look down at the ground before looking up and what I see shocks m,e her eyes are shining with pure hate, but I could see the fear as well. I never thought that a girl like her could have those emotions but I guess I will have to wait for her story.

" It started three years ago" She started. I was captured and both my parents were killed infront of me. I numbly  hear the girls gasp quiety.

Then they took me to that building you rescued me from and put me into a cell with just little water and food and soon they named me Experiment 2081.  Then little after a month they brought me to a science lab and I fought. They used the butt of a sword to knock me out and then they finished strapping me on a table with leather restraints.

Once I woke up they started the experiment and I see about twenty needles pointed at my chest filled with a purple and green liquid. They enjected the needles into my chest and that's all I remembered before blacking out.  { I absenly shivered at that } 

They did these random test to see if their experiment worked and after a year they did another of their harsh test. 

" What....What did they do" Jennifer stammpered out. 

I see Iris take a deep breath then she said " They locked me in a room with a glass window so the scientist could see me and their was a machine there. They locked the door from the outside and then they started the experiment.

The machine throws knifes at you and they always make the speed get faster and faster till you can't dodge anymore and thats what they did to me before I lost conciesnce. { The girls quietly gasped at her statment before she contiued.

After that if I didn't listen they would beat me to nearly where I would bleed to death then they would just put another serum in me to heal me and the pain would go in endless cycles. { I could see her reslove breaking down ever so slowly as she tells her story of pain }

Then these experiments keep going for two more years then you all saved me she said.

" What did those serums do to you?"  Barbra asked for the first time since Iris started her tale.

I see Iris looking saddened, she took a deep breath then said " it enhanced my speed, strength, flexiblity and healing by fifty percent more than an advrage human."

I look at up sharply and asked " so that is how you manage to fight that many guards". She just nodded looking down.

" Then how did that scientist get you"? I see her look up her gaze showing pure and utter hate " she enhanced her skills by twenty percent. 

Jennifer looked at her and asked " so she just enhanced her skills just enough to keep you in that cell.

Iris just nodded sadly and said " can you two go update Jason and Daniel for me, I don't want to tell this story again it's ment for the past and now I have a future to live" The girls nodded and left the room. 

Once they left Iris pulls up one of the chairs at the walls and sits down with her head low. I bend down to her level now and say " Are you ready to fight those scientist if the come back since I know they won't let you get away that easy".

She just nodded. I gently lifted her head up with my hand. I see unshead tears in her eyes and she is close to breaking down. I slowly and gently pull her out of the chair and into the infemary. I bring her to the bathrooms and help her clean her self up by brushing her hair and wash her face.

I gaze at her form in the mirror with her long brown hair now neatly brushed and laying on her shoulder, and her beautiful blue eyes that right around the pupil their is a color of gold contrasting perfectly with her hair and the blue in her eyes.

She barely says anything while I dress her wounds exept " Thank you".  After I finish I bring her to the sleeping quarters and give her a mild sedative and a pain killer and I watch her fall to sleep and her eye lids closing over her beautiful blue and gold eyes. 

Once I was back out I see the girls are back in the common room waiting on me. " Barbra immeditly ask " how is she" . " She will be fine just right now in slight shock and under a sedative and pain killer.

The girls nodded and I sit down tiredly and I rubbed my temple a few times before I get up again and said I'm heading to bed for a few hours wake me up if we land so I can go get Iris. They nodded and I headed to my quaters and remind myself to get a quarters near mine for Iris. Then I drifted off to sleep with her still on my mind.
