       I pushed him off of me ''Actually I won. You cheated. We weren't fighting right now''

He chuckled and stood up ''Enemy can attack at any moment''

I waved him off ''Whatever''

I heard him say something but blocked it out and walked into the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and I surprisingly was untouched. I washed my face and went back to Carlo. He was watching something ''What are you looking at?"

He pointed his finger at something and I turned my head that way, I saw Axel standing there pointing a gun at Samuel. I was about to run there and stop him but was being held back by Carlo.

He whispered in my ear ''If you move they will shoot you'' He was looking at someone, it was a guard with a gun aimed at us.

I whispered/yelled ''I won't stand here and watch them shoot him''

He sighed ''I know. Please don't move Alexa''

I sighed and nodded. He let me go thinking I won't move but he was so wrong. I kicked him in the leg and ran towards Samuel, I could hear Carlo shouting but I won't let them kill my friend. I stood in front of Samuel ''Touch him and you will regret it''

Axel chuckled ''Well well well... Alexandra... Why don't you step away and don't put your nose where it doesn't belong?''

I scoff and didn't show any fear, even tho inside I'm peeing my pants, not literally ''He is my friend so it is my business''

He mumbled something before speaking louder ''Do you even know what happened?''

I shook my head ''Enlighten me, Axel''

He said moving his gun to Samuel ''Your friend here wasn't doing what my guards told him to do. He didn't want to train. Saying he was tired''

I laughed ''Are you sick or just stupid? He is a human being, they get tired for your information, we are not like you and never will be. I know you don't want your people to die that's why you are sending us to get that piece of shit or whatever. But guess what aim a gun at one of my friends again and you can go and get your fucking device yourself. Got it?''

He smirked and aimed now the gun at me ''You foolish child''

I chuckled ''Shoot. We'll see how you will get there then''

He put away the gun and I relaxed. I turned towards Samuel and whispered ''Tell others to be careful. This place is very weird ''

I turned back towards Axel ''Oh and one more thing could you show us where the base is where you have that device?''

He nodded ''My guards will show you '' I smirked ''Good''

The guards walked away saying it was time to go to our rooms. Carlo walked to me ''Are you stupid?''

I looked up at him ''Me? No''

He sighed ''Do you understand that you could have died?''

I sighed ''I know Carlo. But I'm fine. See?''

He nodded hugging me ''You are so stupid''

I mumbled ''Wow... Thanks''

He chuckled and grabbed my hand following the guards to our room. The room was small, with a bed and table with a drawer and a small bathroom. Nothing else.

Me and Carlo walked inside and the moment we were inside the guards closed the door and locked it.

I sat down on the bed ''These people are kind f weird. Why not live in hotels or apartments? Why live underground where there isn't anything normal? It got me thinking. Why wear capes on the ground and here without them. They are hiding something and I plan to find out what''

Carlo chuckled ''I know but for now, we just have to do what they say and when the time is right we should get out of here'' He walked into the bathroom and I heard the water running.

I sighed and laid down on the bed and started thinking, what if they live underground because of the sun?

Nah.

Can't be. 

 After like 15 minutes Carlo came out with a towel wrapped around his waist and water dripping down his chest. I tried to not stare.

He smirked ''Why are you blushing Alexa?''

I turned away ''Anyways, I will go shower now'' I stood up and opened the drawers looking for something to wear. I found some t-shirts and sweatpants, and grabbed those with some underwear that was here also, and walked into the bathroom.

It had a shower and a toilet and a sink. Nothing fancy but everything we needed.

I stood in the shower feeling the water dripping down my body, it honestly felt amazing, finally being able to shower. I spend good 30 minutes in the shower and climb out, brushed my teeth, and run my fingers through my wet hair. And walked back into the room seeing Carlo just laying in bed.

I looked at him ''What are you doing?''

He looked at me sitting up ''Nothing...''

I looked at him weirdly ''Okay''

I put down my previous clothes and walked to the bed, Carlo scoot over and patted the place next to him. I took the pillow and hit him in the face. He grunted and laughed. I laid down the bed away from Carlo as possible.

He let out a groan and wrapped a hand around my waist and pulled me towards him. He put his face in my neck and breathed in my sent ''You smell so good, Alexa''

I hit him in the arm ''Carlo...''

''Alexa''

I sighed and relaxed understanding he won't let go of me ''Goodnight Carlo''

''Goodnight Alexa'' He said and pulled me closer to him.
