A Ghost In The Shadows (Ghost Recon X Girls Frontline) (Status: In Hiatus)

Prologue

In 2013, seeking to unify their countries' security and to combat the smuggling of drugs and weapons, and the movement of terrorists between their borders, the Canadian prime minister and U.S. President Ballantine travel to Mexico City for a summit with Mexican President Ruiz-Peña, to sign a treaty known as the North American Joint Security Agreement (NAJSA). At the same time, a Ghost team, led by Captain Scott Mitchell, is sent into the city to intercept a deal taking place and recover Guardrail IX, a device capable of disrupting wireless communications, which had been taken from a spy plane that was shot down in Nicaragua. However, complications arise when a coup d'état takes place in Mexico City, forcing Ghost commander General Joshua Keating to abort the mission so that Mitchell's team can locate and extract both Ballantine and Ruiz-Peña, who both went into hiding shortly after Mexican rebels attacked the summit, killing the Canadian prime minister in the process.

However after successfully extracting President Ruiz-Peña, his team was immediately ambushed by General Ontiveros's Special Forces Group called 'Aguila 7' and Mitchell's team was completely annihilated by them. With his strength dwindling little by little he leaned on a wall and fired at the Rebels as a last act of defiance against them, before being captured by them and got executed live on television.

After what felt like an absolute nightmare he would wake up, and would find himself on a snowy environment, he would check on his CROSSCOM to see where he was currently, but for some unknown reason the network connecting to the CROSSCOM was unavailable, he looked around and would find his SCAR-L with a Red-dot and an Underbarrel grenade launcher, just next to him. He grabs his weapon and would begin surveying the area he is in, and would find an abandoned village, he would look at the letters of the signs and would see the Russian Lettering, and would assume he is somewhere near Russia or Ukraine.

(since honestly both Russian and Ukrainian letters look the same for me, take that as you will)

Mitchell would find the body of a mechanical female's body leaning itself on the wall on one of the houses. He would grab by its arms and would examine it further he would see that, this is a robot with female characteristics, and would find the manufacturer who made it. 'Sangvis Ferri' is patented on the back of its neck.

Mitchell thinks to himself. "Theres no way there could be this type of technology being utilized without the US knowing.." he would have some theories on why he is here and why this has happened. He would head inside of one of the somewhat stable structure and would look at the calendar and would see the year 2063 stated on it.

His theory was correct, he is in the future, his other theory would need to be confirmed by searching for information on where he came from and why he is here. He would look around the house and would find a large coat and an Alice pack in one of the drawers, he'd put his helmet and tactical vest in the Alice pack to try and avoid suspicion. While he was back in his original timeline he was required to learn Russian along with other languages needed to get information from people. It had proved useful then, it will probe useful now.

After packing everything, and dismantling the underbarrel grenade launcher from the SCAR and placed it in the Alice pack he would dawn on a balaclava and a ushanka and the coat and would carry the SCAR underneath the coat in order to conceal it, and would leave, after leaving the house, snow would begin falling, he would look at the signs on the road and would go on the road to the nearest city or town, and would begin walking there.
