A Ghost In The Shadows (Ghost Recon X Girls Frontline) (Status: In Hiatus)

Chapter 1: Are They Really Robots?

After Scott managed to find a village, after hours of walking on the barren dirt road, the village he would enter would be under attack by an unknown faction. As the people began panicking all around him, a few villagers armed with bolt-action rifles and shotguns would call out to the civilians to stay calm and begin heading to the pre-planned position.

As an Officer of a 'righteous' military, Mitchell would head right up to the armed men, and asked. "Hey, is there anything anything I could to help?" The armed men's leader would meet Mitchell and would tell him.

"Yes, of course. We need all the help we could get.. these Sangvis bitches started taking over villages one by one since last month.."

Mitchell would think back to that broken down robot, and would talk to the leader of the group.

"About Sangvis.. what do you know about them?" Asks Mitchell, wondering whether or not his hunch is correct.

The leader would laugh and tell him. "Have you been living under a rock my friend? Sangvis was supposed to be the one supplying the Russians with T-Dolls in order to fight those ELID zombies.. until they went rogue on us.."

Mitchell would get curious and ask him.
"What do you mean they went rogue?"

The leader would look at him and ask him the same thing. "Yeah I wonder that myself too.."

Just as they were talking an explosion would be heard, and gunshots and plasma fire would commence in the town, the conversation would cut short.

"Sorry friend looks like we have to cut things short and get right down to business. We need all the help we could get."

"Alright where do you need me?" Asked Mitchell

Both the leader would pick a few men with him and Mitchell to cover the west side of the town, where the fighting started, and just as they arrived at the west side of the town they would immediately get shot at from somewhere but due to the smoke and fog their position is quite unclear. Mitchell with fighters would be pinned down in a ruined building. The leader would blind fire his weapon to the fog, the other fighters would be too scared to even hold their weapons.

Mitchell would grab his SCAR-L from the Alice Pack and would go to the back door and would go from there and scout the area to see where the enemy was firing from. And would find a group of girls carrying weapons of unknown design firing at the house where he was at. He'd grab his rifle and would point to where the girls are and would put his finger on the trigger but is hesitant to pull it, the words start to etch through his mind: 'Are they really robots?' and as the question keep appearing in his mind he didn't realize that he was visible to them, and by the time he realized the girls below would notice Mitchell, and would open fire at him, luckily their shots would barely miss, but would graze his cheek.

He would duck and would grunt in pain. He'd spout the words "God damn it!" In english. The gunfire would stop. Mitchell would start crawling away from the place where he had just been and would reposition, but would be cut off by 2 T-Dolls at an alleyway between the house where he came from. The T-Dolls would point their weapons at Mitchell, and in surprise one of the Dolls talked in Russian:

"Put down your weapon or we will destroy your friends in that building."

The Doll would point to where the men would be held, and would see some sort of mortar system pointed at them. Mitchell would speak back to the T-Dolls in Russian.

"Why won't you kill me?" Mitchell asked curiously.

The T-Doll responds: "Our Ring Leader has taken an interest in you. And wishes to.." the Doll would pause during her sentence as if she was communicating with someone. "She wishes to meet you personally." Says the Doll.

"What would happen to the men in the building?" Mitchell asked the Doll.

"That depends on your answer, will you surrender or die?" Says the Doll.

With no choice but to comply with their threat he agreed to surrender to Sangvis Ferri. And as they began escorting Mitchell to meet their 'Ring Leader' he would ask a question regarding the villagers.

"Alright.. I'll agree to your proposal.. will you spare the villagers?"

The Doll would answer his question. "We do not know whether or not our Ring Leader would continue the attack."

Mitchell would be worried, he should've said something to the leader before leaving to scout ahead for them. He thought about the last mission he went on. He was supposed to work together with his team, but his ego got the best of him after destroying 5 tanks before the last mission, and forgot about his teammates and died. He'd hope that his pride didn't kill innocent lives this time.
