Chapter 15: An Offering

Mitchell feeling something's wrong grabs his pistol from the table and goes to the door heading down to the garage.

As he did a flashbang went in the room and stunned Mitchell causing him to trip on a chair and fell on the ground.

Both Reina and Rick got up and kicked the table on its side to have some sort of cover as they took guns from the gun rack behind them.

Mitchell, with his head hurting tries to crawl to the table as he grabs his CROSSCOM headpiece and would find it disabled.

Seeing this he throws away the headpiece and leans himself behind the table for cover.

"Oh shite.. we're under attack." Reina said calmly as she aimed her gun at the doorway to the the garage.

Rick would open the drawer and would grab a grenade and would pull the pin then would throw it towards the doorway. "They've made a very terrible mistake."

A loud boom would be heard and then the sound of hail would follow for a moment, before everything became quiet again.

Rick grabs his rifle, along with Reina would move against the wall, with Mitchell covering them from behind the table.

They'd slowly walk downstairs, turning on their flashlights on their rifles as they scanned the garage for any hostiles nearby.

Mitchell follows suit behind them as he shines a light the corners of the room.

Eerily quiet Rick would head to the dead corpse on the ground, revealing it to be Stefan.

Seeing as there are stab wounds in his chest, makes them know they are not alone in the not so safehouse.

Mitchell thinking as to why this is happening would head back upstairs and would check up on Victoria in the Bathroom.

While both Rick and Reina would head back up the stairs to the upper floor of the safehouse.

"Shit.. Stefan's dead.." Rick contemplates.

"Alright, before we lose anybody else, we need to find Hermit, he's upstairs." Said Reina

"What about Mitch and the Commander?"

"They'll be fine, Hermit is our main concern, since those bastards might have slipped in and headed up the stairs without us knowing."

"Okay, let's go."

Both of them started to slowly head up the stairs as Rick opens the door to the only room to the highest floor.

And would be met by a strong punch to the face with him tumbling on the stairs along with the hostile soldier.

Reina tries to aim her rifle at the hostile soldier but would be stopped by Greene who would throw her in the room while her rifle would be thrown down the stairs.

Reina would see Hermit on the floor bleeding to death, she'd stand up and would assume a hand to hand combat stance.

"So this is the famous Task Force Hunter's Brawler, I've got to say you're quite weaker than I thought." Greene would crack her neck and knuckles as she takes a hand to hand combat stance.
