Chapter 18: The Chase

Somewhere deep inside the Blackheart Facility.

"Pass me that scalpel."

"Heart rate stable."

"I need the clamps.. we're almost done."

"Blood pressure is normal.

"Yep.. standby.."

"Surprisingly he's probably one of the most stable patients we have ever worked on."

"Too right that chief."

"Alrighty.. we're done. Lets put him in the Tub."

The two doctors would push the hospital bed to the Rosentine Chamber. They would then begin to carry him to an empty capsule and would close it up in order for the Rosentine to fill the capsule. They would then watch as Mitchell covered with tubes and wires would begin to float in the red liquid.

"What the heck even is this red stuff we just put in that capsule? Its not the normal Vindicorial Fluid we use."

"Nope apparently its a brand new Liquid Mistress Vivian concocted in her labs down at XBZ-33."

"Do we even have that floor?"

"Not in the normal elevators we use nope."

"Damn.. how fuckin deep is this place?"

"Don't know don't care, come on I wanna take a bath at the new hotsprings that just opened at AAA-09."

"Aight lets go."

The two doctors would finish up in making sure the subject is secured and would, move out.

As the two doctors walked towards the elevator they would walk pass by a parallel group of a couple of Blackheart Operatives on their way to the Rosentine Chamber to check on the subject.

"Monarch, this is Cockroach, we've confirmed both doctors are finished with their surgery."

"Good. Check on the status of the subject."

"Affirmative, standby."

The two operatives would enter the Rosentine Chamber and would find the Capsule stable and secure.

"Subject is currently being repaired, restoration of damaged parts are at 33.5% completion."

"Muscle and Tissue are both regenerating, bone structures are strengthening."

As the Operatives are checking on the equipment they would notice one thing has changed with the subject, his eyes are now wide open and would be watching the Operatives.

"Monarch, this is Cockroach, Subject's eyes have opened and are now observing us."

"Roger, keep working, if the Subject doesn't do anything it should be fine."

"Copy.."

The Subject would look at what the Operatives are doing, and would study everything. He would then look around in the capsule looking for a way out. He'd then look up and would see a lever to open the capsule, and would try to grab it with his regenerated hands.
