Pushing The Fiery Envelope

After things settled down, my dad went back to Ryme City to look for clues of my mother's disappearance along with Tim and Emilia, while I stayed at Melemele island with Uncle Kukui. Right now, Ash and I were watching this cool battle on TV that showed the Masked Royal with his Pokémon Incineroar. Now me being the niece of Kukui, I knew the identity of the Masked Royal, but I swore on my heart not to reveal who it is.

Ash: What's a Battle Royal?
Rotom: It's an Alolan tradition where four Pokémon battle each other at once
Valarie: In other words, it's every man to themselves
Ash: Yeah! That sounds exciting!
Valarie: And fun too! I was in a Battle Royal once when I was little. Lou and I were inseparable until we couldn't beat the Masked Royal
Lou [Lucario]: Ruff!
Ash: Say, Val. When will that egg hatch?
Valarie: Any minute now, I can't wait to see
MC [TV]: Is there anyone who can stop this invincible duo's winning streak?
Lilo [Torracat]/Litten: MROOOWW!!!
Valarie: Whoa!! You two need to calm down
MC [TV]: Now we wait for the opening bell [bell rings and cheering] and there it is!!
Valarie: COME ON INCINEROAR!!! YOU GOT THIS!!!!
Ash: [sweat drop] Eh... Val, I think you're the one that need to calm down

[Judo Chop]

Valarie: [anime vein] Never tell a girl to calm down, got it!!
Ash: Y-Y-Yes ma'am

We watch the battle go down while Rotom showed us all Rowlet, Popplio, and Litten's final forms which made Ash and I excited. We watched as Incineroar was completely unfazed by the attacks. Lilo and Litten were meowing so loud that they cheered too, it didn't take long for the Masked Royal to perform an amazing Z-Move that I never knew exist. Malicious Moonsault. I was in shocked because after all my years battling the Masked Royal in the past, I never seen him perform that move. As soon as I hear my uncle say "it's invincible" I had to try so hard not to laugh at his ridiculous line.

[Door opens]

Burnet: I'm back!
Ash: Huh? Hey, professor!
Burnet: Huh? Kukui's not back yet?

Masked Royal [TV]: Trainers watching on TV, tomorrow, you can challenge Incineroar and me as part of a special event!
Incineroar [TV]: [growls]
Ash/Valarie: Whoa!? All right!! We got to go to that!!!
Burnet: [chuckles] They're cool, aren't they? [picks up Litten]
Ash/Valarie: You know them!?
Valarie: 'Does that mean uncle Kukui told her?'
Burnet: I love the Masked Royal! He's amazing!
Masked Royal [TV]: I'm looking forward to a battle with heat! So, until then? Enjoy!
Incineroar [TV]: Incineroar!
Valarie: [smile] So you know who the Masked Royal is, Aunt Burnet?
Burnet: I wish, but I would love to know what lies behind that mask

I fell straight to the ground when I heard her say that, it scared Ash and Burnet, but I lay there with the only thing that ring into my head when Uncle Kukui made a vow to never keep a secret from Burnet. So I got back up and grabbed my messenger bag as I walk to the door and opened it.

Burnet: Um... Val, where are you going?
Valarie: Oh! Just going for a little stroll. Lou will accompany me. Ash, I'm putting you in charge of the egg
Ash: Okay?

As soon as we stepped outside the beach house, I started flying all the way to Akala island where I landed at the stadium and got Lou out of his poke ball, I snuck passed security and walked into the locker room where I found Uncle Kukui with his Incineroar, now all that's left is to tell him. Ever so gently.

Kukui: Man, that was a breeze, right Incineroar
Incineroar: Incineroar
Valarie: Alola uncle Kukui
Kukui: Huh? Oh hi Va-Ack!!!!

I immediately air kicked him in the guys while sending him across the room as I land on my two feet, and glared at him along with Lou while he and Incineroar cowered in fear knowing very well what they have done.
