Valarie's P.O.V

I sitting on a chair siping my juice box while waiting for the Battle Royale to be over, I watched from the tv inside the locker room waiting to see what Kukui was going to announce this time.

Masked Royal [TV]: Attention! Your attention, please!! In order to promote the Battle Royal and spread its sterling reputation far and wide... Yours truly and Incineroar... Are coming to your town to do a meet-and-greet!!
Valarie: Huh, a meet-and-greet [grin] what a interesting idea~ [dials]
Burnet [phone]: Hello~
Valarie: Hey auntie~ listen I'm not sure you know this but Masked Royal is having a meet-and-greet and it would be so fun if the whole family goes. I'm sure uncle Kukui wont mind
Burnet [phone]: [gasp] You're absolutely right!!!! We should all go!!! Kukui would love it!!
Masked Royal [TV]: And our first stop is Melemele Island!!! Come to the Melemele Island shopping mall!! Then you and I can shake hands!!!
Valarie: I'm sure he will, anyways I better go, we'll be back home soon~ bye~ [hang up]
Masked Royal [TV]: Are you ready? En-joy!!!
Valarie: Question is, should I tell him what I did or let him figure it out?... Meh, he'll figure it out eventually

[Door opens]

Masked Royal: Hey Val, what are you doing here?
Valarie: Oh just here to greet my uncle and congratulate you on a terrific match
Masked Royal: And yet another great battle! Really good work, Incineroar
Incineroar: Incineroar!! [return in his poke ball]
Kukui: Phew [take off his mask] Huh? Why are you smiling
Valarie: No reason, so~ the meet-and-greet will be at Melemele island, how amusing
Kukui: Eh, Val. What did you do?
Valarie: Oh nothing~ let's go home

Kukui and I left the stadium as we took a boat back to Melemele Island, and walked back home with some groceries in my hands as Kukui opened the door first.

Kukui: We're home!

Right on cue, Ash and aunt Burnet came rushing towards the door with stars in their eyes, I was still smiling at the fact he had know idea what's coming next.

Burnet: Kukui!! Listen to this!!!
Ash: Yes, professor, listen!!
Burnet/Ash: The Masked Royal is coming here to the Melemele Island shopping mall!!
Kukui: Oh I see... Isn't that nice?
Ash/Burnet: We're going, right? Say we are, can we... Can we, please?
Burnet: Your niece said that you wouldn't mind going
Kukui: Eh?! [look back] Valarie
Valarie: It was least I could do
Zafirah: I think it would be a wonderful idea, don't you think Harry
Harry: Well-
Zafirah: [stern glare] "Well" what?
Harry: EH!! I mean, sure! It would be a blast

No escape from this one, Kukui last hope was my dad and Tim but those two stayed firmed and agreed with my mom. The next day, I was preparing myself to go to the shopping mall to the meet-and-greet, this was my plot of revenge from the close call he had when he was washing his mask and lied that it was mine, made me mimic the pose, and

~ Flashback ~

I was walking to my uncle Kukui's home to pick up the laundry since my mom wanted me to go pick it up from his home due to our dryer not working. When I stepped inside, I spotted uncle Kukui taking the mask out of the dryer and Burnet walking in to see Kukui as he panicked and spotted me while I was confused.

Kukui: Valarie!! Came to get your masked royal mask, here you go~
Valarie: Eh, But i just came for the lau-
Kukui: [hands her a basket of laundry] Here you go, have a wonderful day!!
