I was wandering around the market to collect some ingredients to make some of my homemade Pokémon cookies, when I noticed that there was going to be a pancake race.
Valarie: wow a pancake race, that sounds cool. What do you think Lou? Should we sign up? Lou [Lucario]: ruff! Valarie: awesome! You and me can win this, after all you have wonderful balance and perfect posture from our last Pokémon Pageant
I signed up for me and Lou and left, I looked over the rules and decided to practice with Lou until I noticed Mallow and Bounsweet are practicing for the race too.
Valarie: hey Mallow! Mallow: hi Val, you participating for the Alola Pancake Race? Valarie: sure am, what about you? Mallow: me too, wanna train together? Valarie: yeah
Mallow and I trained outside her restaurant with Bounsweet and Lou Training, Mallow and I timed our Pokémon and watch them practice and practice until it was time for a break.
Mallow: wow Val, Lou is definitely going to win this years Pancake Race Valarie: you think so? Mallow: yeah, he has great posture and perfect balance Valarie: well Mallow, the reason why behind that is because he and I along with Zora, Winter and Lilo participated in many Pokémon Pageant Mallow: oh wow, really? Valarie: yup, I was first place champion three times in a row, then a friend of mine Serena participated and we both became champions. I just hope all our training is worth it
Lou and I finished our training and left, I arrived home just in time for dinner. I got ready to make some homemade Pokémon cookies and tried my best to make Turtonator, after I completed making the cookies, I got ready for bed and went to sleep.
The Next Day
The next day, I was able to go to the Pancakes Race on the day I work as long as I represent the Pokémon Cafe, so I have to wear the uniform for it. got my band ready and stack of pancakes for the competition. Lilo, Zora, Jodie, Rocky, and Winter stayed near Professor Kukui and Lillie while Lou was at the second obstacle of the race.
Valarie: you guys pumped for the race? Ash: you bet Val! I can't wait! Who did you enter for the race? Valarie: I entered Lucario for the race, normally I was going to put either Lilo or Winter, but they just want to see the race. Lou was the one who wanted to volunteer to participate Kiawe: well, I'll see you all at the finish line
We all got into position and the race started, I carefully and balanced my pancakes to ensure that the pancakes don't fall. I ran through all out the obstacles and was able to keep my posture straight, along with ensuring that the pancakes didn't fall. Unfortunately Sophocles wasn't successful thought the first obstacle, I made it to the wagons where our Pokémon are and handed the stack of pancakes to Lucario while I pull the wagon, I gave it all my power and strength to reach to the end of the second obstacle.
Valarie: keep them balanced Lou, we're almost there! Lou [Lucario]: ruff! Valarie: oh! We made it! Okay Lou, you're on your own. Remember, be the very best like no one ever was Lou [Lucario]: ruff! Valarie: I'll meet you at the finish line, okay Lou [Lucario]: [nods agreeable] ruff!
Me, Ash, Lana, and Mallow reached to the finish line to wait for our Pokémon while we watch on the big screen to see our Pokémon racing near the bridge, that's when my eyes caught the attention of the Pokémon impersonating as Pikachu.
