After the event that happened, my dad filed all charges to Claire, and she was found guilty of robbery, accessory, and Pokémon abuse. It turns out that Claire was abusing my Absol. She was sentenced to life in prison without parole. As for my brother, he still continued on his previous case, my dad and Tim had to go back to Ryme City but promised to come back as soon as the case is solved. My dad wanted to reopen the case of my mom's disappearance because he now believes that my mom is still out there, we just need to find Meloetta and Victini, so that we can put the pieces together to find out what had happened. As for Nyx, she has to stay in the Pokémon Center so she can recuperate from her injuries. It was early in the morning and I decided to contact Nurse Joy to see how Nyx is doing.

Nurse Joy [Computer]: your Pokémon is doing wonderful Valarie, she's eating perfectly and as soon as she's able to walk perfectly, she'll be back with your team soon
Valarie: thanks Nurse Joy, I'll be there to check up on her after my shift is over. Thanks for the help
Nurse Joy [Computer]: I do what I can, I'll see you there [hang up]
Rotom: with Nyx getting better, you'll have another addition to your team
Valarie: thanks Rotom, now let's get going, we have to go to the school
Rotom: don't forget, Professor Belle wanted to let you know that today we'll be doing something a lot different
Valarie: right. Okay so for today's team, I'll take Rocky, Lou, Lilo, Winter, Flare, and Miku. Mila, Sharp, Zora, Jodie, and Aries. You five stay here and behave yourselves, especially you two [looks at Zora and Aries] I know you two can be mischievous, but I expect good behavior while I'm gone. Got it?
Zora [Zorua]: [bark happily]
Aries [Whimsicott]: Whim!!

Rotom, Rocky and I left to catch up with Ash and Professor Kukui as we walked our way to the Pokémon school we learned that today we were going to switch Pokémon.

Mallow: trade our Pokémon? What do you mean about that?
Lana: you don't mean Popplio's going away?
Kukui: no, not that. That's not what I meant. I mean you trade your Pokémon temporarily. I want you all to get to know different Pokémon other than your very own, and so what better way to do that than take care of each other's Pokémon?
Mallow: oh Professor, I understand now
Ash: it sounds kinda fun
Sophocles: I've always wanted to gather the data of Pokémon who aren't electric type
Lana: I'm a little worried. I'll miss my Popplio
Popplio: pop!
Lillie: true, but this could be a lot of fun! For me, being able to touch a Pokémon other than Snowy would be good
Kiawe: well, let's give it a go
Valarie: hold on! What about me? There's 7 of us, how will we trade?
Kukui: well here's the surprise, since there are 7 of you, and Valarie has so many Pokémon, you each get to take one Pokémon from Valarie's team
Valarie: really?!
Kukui: yup, they'll draw a stick and whichever stick they get, that's the Pokémon they'll take care of
Valarie:... Well~ okay!

And just like that, Lillie switched with Ash, Mallow switched with Sophocles, and Lana switched with Kiawe. Now it was time for them to draw a straw to see which Pokémon they'll take from my group.

Valarie: come on out! Rocky, Lou, Lilo, Winter, Flare, and Miku!

My Pokémon came out of their poke balls and greeted everyone but stopped when they saw my friends with different Pokémon.

Valarie: now listen up, they're going to draw a straw, and whichever straw they get, you'll be with them until the weekend

[Lou panics]

Lou immediately came up to me and just tried to hold onto me as if he doesn't want to be separated from me, Winter and Flare looked sad, while Miku, Rocky, and Lilo were calm and barked at the others like they were trying to comfort them.

Valarie: oh I know it breaks my heart too, but I promise you when we reunite together, I will keep my promise to make you guys your favorite dish
