Lillie's Egg-xhilirating Challenge

I woke up bright an early because of Umbreon waking me up, I was surprised he was still here. I fixed my hair and got ready, I decided to just eat toast with strawberry jam on it. I ran off with Rocky following me and Umbreon hopped into my bag, I ran off and made it to school to see that we were going to learn about Pokémon Eggs.

Valarie: so let me get this straight, we'll be taking care of a Pokémon egg?
Kukui: not just one, but two eggs, one from here and one that was brought from the Kanto Region
Valarie: okay, so who's going to take care of which egg?
Kukui: how about Val takes care of the Kanto egg while the rest of you take care of the Alola egg
Valarie: what do you think Rocky? You up for the challenge?
Rocky [Lycanroc]: roc!
Valarie: alright, I'll take the Kanto egg, good thing I brought a egg carrier and an egg incubator with me
Mallow: an egg incubator? For what?
Valarie: don't know, my dad made it himself, he said that it helps the Pokémon egg with the temperature
Ash: wow, it's kind of warm
Mallow: yeah, you're right! It feels so alive
Sophocles: let me touch
Kiawe: awesome
Mallow: hey, Lillie, you try!
Lillie: oh, I don't know
Mallow: I know you're afraid, but remember. Pokémon eggs aren't able to move

[Light Bulb: On]

Valarie: I got an idea, a bolt of brilliance!
All: huh?
Valarie: Mallow, you gave me a brilliant idea! How about Lillie takes care of the egg
All: huh?!
Mallow: yeah! I think Lillie would be best
Valarie: think about it, it can be a first step to touching a Pokémon. The first step is to be able to touch a Pokémon egg
Lana: can she do it?
Mallow/Valarie: that's the point!! The best way to touch Pokémon is to take care of the Egg and get used to it bit by bit
Valarie: so, what do you say?
Lillie: oh! Well, I guess I could try
Sophocles: of course, you don't have to

Lillie was a bit hesitant but I know she can do it, I was a bit nervous but then I noticed she was looking confident.

Lillie: all right. I'll do it!
All: huh?
Lillie: I'm a student of this Pokémon School, too, aren't I?
Mallow: of course, I know you can do it
Sophocles: yeah. As long as you're sure
Lana: she's going to be just fine
Ash: go for it
Pikachu: Pika!
Kiawe: we have faith in you
Lillie: great! I can do this!

I smiled and watch Lillie feel confident, when suddenly out of no where I could've sworn I heard something say "Sala" I looked outside and saw nothing. The bell rang and everyone went home, I however felt Umbreon move in my bag which made me worry.

Valarie: Stay still Umbreon, we'll be out in no time
Kiawe: hey Val
Valarie: [panic] hey Kiawe, what's up?
Kiawe: I was wondering if you wanted to go to my family's farm with me
Valarie: umm... well you see I um...
Voice: she's spending the day with me

Kiawe, Lana, Sophocles, Professor Belle and I turned to see Gladion standing there. Umbreon jumped out of my bag and ran up to Gladion, he pet Umbreon and looked up at me but I could've sworn I saw him glare at Kiawe.

Gladion: thanks for watching Umbreon for me, Val
Valarie: ummm. No problem! He wasn't much of a problem. Sorry Kiawe, maybe next time we can hang. I really do wanna go
Kiawe: all right, I'll see you tomorrow Val
Valarie: bye, come on Rocky

No One's P.O.V

While Valarie carried the egg, Gladion wrap his arm around Val's shoulder and looked back at Kiawe. Kiawe glares at Gladion while he only smirked and walked next to Valarie, Lana took noticed and teased Kiawe about it.
