" It already 11:30 " Adam looked at the time at his phone. " But...we still can do a second story to finish our night " The left side of his lip then lifted up into a carefree smile " Who can impressed us with their story? "
" Actually, my grandfather used to tell one horror story related to railway " Jafri volunteered straight away with surprisingly a serious tone unlike him.
" Sound interesting " Jasmine said
" It's an urban legend, my granddad said this bizarre events happen on one thursay's night or the old folk always said ' Malam keliwon ' "
" Wait today is that day right, the spookiest day of the week " Melur cover his body with a blanket on Adam's bed as she said.
" There are this one guy, he went travel on train to meet his family in the city " " Because of the exhaustion from the works he felt asleep on his seat in the train, and as he woke up all surrounding seat around him was empty " He start the story.
" Suddenly the door from another compartment open, an old woman limping around enter the space with a long wooden stick to help her walk "
" She sat far away from him, it can be seen from the mirror in front of him that old woman wore a very old 'kebaya' with a red stains at the button. Her grey hair were long and a little of it was tied up with stiff yellow rubber "
With the exception of Jafri, everyone appears to be so engrossed in the story that not a single word comes out of their mouth.
" As the train goes, he got more sleepier and took a nap again. The train suddenly shaking maybe from the friction from the trail " He continued.
" That man woke up sweating and as he wiped out the sweat with his handkerchief "
" Unpleasant feeling suddenly hit him as he can feel a pair of eyes was watching him through the mirror "
Jafri swallowed his saliva " And he noticed the woman staring at him blankly, but what frightened him was that he noticed the woman was only five seats behind him, but he was still vividly remembered that the woman sat so far behind him before he fell asleep "
Before taking a sip of his fanta, Adam blurted, "Man, that's terrifying."
" As he was still sleepy, he decided that he was hallucinating due to tiredness, so he went back to sleep " Jafri continued his tale.
" Hihihi... Hihihihi.... Hihihiiii... " Jafri abruptly mimicked a tiny whispered, shaky voice. " The man can hear the voice so close to his ear, and he awoke for the third time, feeling eerie. " He returns to his usual voice.
" Unusual feelings began to creep into his mind, as he mustered the guts to peek in the mirror."
" And... He can see the woman suddenly just only three row behind him " " From this moment he realised now that there are something wrong with that old woman "
" So he tries to leave to another coach when he saw... " Jafri deliberately stop.
" What was he saw? " A curious expression was very visible on Sarah's face.
" Like an animal on the floor, the elderly woman suddenly was on her four limbs."
" Thup, thup, thup " Jafri thumped the steel floor with his shoes to imitate the sound
" This sound is becoming closer and closer, as if there is some sinister creature slowly approaching him "
" He turn around a saw the woman crawling with a big hump on her back towards him "
" Before he could react, the man passed out as his body and mind gave away from shock at the horrifying transformation of that elderly woman."
" Later that morning, he was discovered by the villagers wounded with a big scar on his back laying on the graveyard " " no one know how he was end up being there "
Jafri took a long sigh " Sadly, he was moved into the mental asylum after a few month because he always claimed that he saw the imaginary of that old women crawling chasing him "
" No, that's so sad but creepy at the same time " Melur pouted.
" Yes, it was creepy..." Jafri mumbled by himself.
As it approached midnight, their exhausted faces began to show in their expression. Their eyes become heavy as a result of the overwhelming consequences of excessive cerebral stimulation brought on by their conversation and game sessions. One by one, the people in the room appear to be leaving to recharge their energies in preparation for an exciting day tomorrow.
