,, Severus, you don't have to do this." you said slightly nervous.

,,No I don't but I want to. It's going to be okay." He answered and hugged you. Your head was laying on his chest and you could smell is perfume.

He wanted to meet your parents, which made you really nervous. Not because you cared much about their opinion but what he would say to them if they talk shit. Severus would kill for you. He would sacrifice himself for you but so do you.

,,It's just..I - I don't want them to be mean to you Severus."

,,Don't worry about that." He said and put your face into his hands. He looked at you and kissed your forehead. This makes you feel like home. He made you feel so safe, comfortable and most important loved.

You both had a bad childhood and no one who told you that you're loved and it's okay to cry or to be sad. No one would hug you and kiss you. Not your mother or your farther.

He told you not much about his childhood but neither did you. But the things you told each other were so similar. He told you everyday multiple times how much he loves you.

,Shall we go?"

,,I suppose" you said not very convincing.

,,Hello mother."

,,Hello my dear!" She replied with a devilish smile or maybe it just looks like that for you. Then she looked at Severus and her face changed immediately. It went from a ,, welcoming" smile to a despising look.

,,You must be-"

,,Severus Snape." he said and held out his hand. She didn't shake it and that was already enough for you.

,,Come in." she stepped away from the door for us to come in. You held his hand and squeeze it that he looks at you.

He turned around and you just looked at him and he understood.

,, Everything is going to be okay." He comforted you but this didn't really helped much.

All of you sat down on the dinner table.

,,Good afternoon" said your farther.

,,Hello father." you said cold.

,,With all due respect Mr. but aren't you a bit too old for my daughter?" asked your mother.

,,That's non of your concern mother." you answered immediately.

,,You are my daughter so it kind of is. How old are you." she said and looked at him.

,,Well-" he began but got cut of by you.

,,I said it's non of your concern and don't act like the caring mother."

You squeezed his hand again and he knew how upset you were but there was nothing he could do.

,,Don't you dare talk to your mother like that." said your dad, and that made the whole situation even worse.

,,Your daughter is a great woman and I have no intention to harm her in any way."

,,That's what the bad guys say." responded your mother again. She was so unbelievably disrespectful for no reason but that wasn't new.

,,Shut up. He is making me happy and he's caring and loving. Not like you two." you said trying to sound confident but there were tears in your eyes, you tried to hold back so bad.

,,That's enough. You don't talk to me like that. After all I've done for you, you thank me like that?" Disrespectful brat."

,,Don't act like you ever cared about me. Both of you." you stood up from your chair.
,,All you cared for was yourself and you don't have the right to call me disrespectful. Severus and I came here, and he was so nice and all you did was looking at him with disgust. "

Tears rolled down your cheek. The tears you tried to hold back so bad.

,,Now you're crying again. It seems like that's the only thing you can do besides being a brat of course."

Severus stood up and took your hand before he began to talk.

,,Don't talk to her like that. She's the sweetest and nicest human being I've ever met. She deserves the world and you two talk to her like a criminal. One more word or I kill you." He pointed his wand at your mother, and you knew that he was serious.

Your father stood protectively in front of her with his wand in hand. Severus pushed you behind him to protect you.

,,We are going to leave now but if I hear one of you ever talk to her like that , it's going to be your last." He said threatening. Never before did a person stand up for you.

After you left the house you collapsed in his arms. You sobbed into his chest, and he pulled you close. It went even worse than you imagined.

,,It's okay y/n you're safe with me. I'll never hurt you. I love you so so much." he said calming .

,,Now let us go home, alright?"

And before you could answer were you in his chambers. He was still hugging you tightly. After a few minutes you could finally say something.

,,Severus I- I am so sorry The w-w ay t-they talked t-to you.."

,,I don't care what they said or think about me. It's you I care about."

He gently pushed your chin up to force you to look at him. He wiped your tears away.

,,Nothing they said is true darling, you know that right?" You did, but it still hurts even after all these years. He carried you bride style to the couch and placed you in his lap. Your arms were around his neck.

,,When I was younger they always told me things like that. I had to be quiet all the time and when my mother raged against me I wasn't allowed to talk or react in any way. When I cried they laughed at me and when I screamed , she beat me. " you said between your crying.

He kissed your forehead.

,,Y/n I am so sorry. You don't deserve this and all I want is you to feel happy and loved. You're the most intelligent and gorgeous woman I've ever met. I'm sorry that I forced you to meet with your parents." he replied and his voiced sounded sad.

,,Don't apologize. You couldn't have known that my parents are like that."

,,I should have listen to you. All I want is to make you feel good."

,,It's not your fault. It's theirs."

,,You're right." and with that he pulled your closer.

,,Can we stay like this for a while?"
