,, Severus? Are you here?" but you didn't wait for an answer and entered his room. He wasn't there but that was not a surprise because you already checked it three times. The whole day you were looking for him but it seemed as if he's  swallowed by the ground.

He wasn't in the library, the common room (which wasn't surprising) , the corridors or even in the castle. After hours of searching it finally came to your mind were he could be.

A while ago, it must have been on one of the weekends when everyone went to Hogsmead you stayed with him at Hogwarts. You both spend the morning at the library and after lunch you two went outside for a walk.

,,Let's go into the forest!" he said exited.

,,Sev, I don't know if this is a good idea."

,,Come on y/n. It can't be that dangerous and we don't have to go far. Please." he answered with a begging look on his face. You couldn't say no. Not to him and especially not now because it has been a rough week for him. He got attacked by James and his friends again.

,,Fine, but we won't go far."

,,Thank you y/n you're the best." He said and hugged you.

You two went into the forest , the deeper you went in, the darker it got. He saw that you were a bit scared and he also knew that you wouldn't admit it so he took your hand without saying a word.

And then there it was - a clearing in the middle of the forest. It was so beautiful and so magical.

At first you were a bit unsure if it couldn't be something dangerous because it was a little strange - you felt a little strange but he seemed so happy.

He looked at the place and said ,,That's ours now y/n." He smiled at you. ,,Our secret place."

It was so great to finally see him smiling again. He never smiled at school and never seemed happy but now he clearly was.

,,Our place." you repeated, leaning your head against his shoulder. He put an arm around you.

,,Why didn't I think of it right away?" you said to yourself while you made your way straight into the forest.

It was already dark outside but you had to go - you had to find him.

,,Lumos" you whispered as you entered the forest. Darkness. Darkness was your biggest fear but that didn't matters at the moment. It was more important to find him.

,, Severus? Please say something if you're here." you said with a shaking voice.

You heard a whimper and it had to be him. He didn't answered.

,,Sev? Please I know you're here."

You took a few steps closer to the direction where the whimper has come from and then you saw him. Sitting on the floor with his head between his legs - crying.

He looked up to you and seemed to be embarrassed even if he knew that he doesn't have to. Not in front of you. You immediately went down to pull him into a tight hug.

,,It's okay sev, I'm here." but the sobbing did not stop.

,,What happened?" you asked carefully after a few minutes.

,,It was James again. He and the others...they waited for me after the potions lesson in the dungeon a-and they beat me and said things like ,,I don't deserve you or anyone" and that nobody wants me. The worst thing is that it's true y/n." He said and then more tears ran down his face.

,,Look at me Sev." you said while you put your hand on his cheek to turn his face to look at you.

,,You are the best friend I've ever had. You are loyal, funny and smart. You haven't been treated kindly by anyone in your life but that doesn't mean you don't deserve it. I love you Severus and nothing will change that."

,,You are the only person who thinks like that about me. What if you're wrong y/n? "

,,Don't be silly sev, I'm never wrong at anything." You smiled at him, trying to cheer him up. It didn't work.

,,I can't do this anymore. I'm so tired y/n."

And it was true, you could see it in his eyes. He barely shows emotions and when he does he cries. It makes you so unbelievable sad and angry at the same time. Of course not angry at him but angry at the world who never treats him the way he deserves.

,,I am here with you and I will never leave you , okay? Never."

He collapsed in your arms. He want able to say one more word all he could do was crying but that was okay.

,,It's okay to cry. It's fine. Everything will be okay. You are not alone I am here with you."

,,Y/n? I need to tell you something." he said after a while. He pulled himself up but didn't looked into your eyes. He couldn't.

,,I - I am sorry." was all he said.

,,There is nothing to be sorry about Severus." you said kindly.

,,No, there is y/n you don't understand." And then he rolled up the sleeve of his left arm. He cut himself again which broke your heart in a thousand pieces. He's the prettiest person you've ever met, the best friend you've ever had and he hates himself so much.

You touched his fresh cuts carefully not to hurt him. Then you looked at him.

,,It's okay Severus. You don't need to apologize for the things that happen to you. I am not angry."

He looked relieved.

,,It just was too much. I didn't know what else to do. James saw my scars which gave him one more reason to bully me."

You pulled him as close as possible into your arms. He needs this more that ever. He is so broken but so strong. The world was so cruel.

,,Next time come to me okay? Hurting yourself isn't a solution. I know it's hard to talk to someone, even if it's me but please try it Severus. Please. It hurts me so much to see you like this. You deserve the world."

,,You mean so much to me y/n. So much. You can't imagine how much."

,,And so do you." You said , kissed his forehead and brush his tears away.
