,,y/n, y/n! I was looking for the whole day, haven't seen you in class. Where have you been?" he said exiting as he entered your room.
You liften your body up ,,I'm was too suck for school today, sorry I must have fallen asleep before I could send you an owl."
He sat down on your bed, still smiling but now a bit concerned.
,,Can I do something for you?" he asked nicely.
,,No, but thank you. I'm alright but tell me, why are you so exited?" you asked, after you layed down again. It was too exhausting to sit for you right now.
,,I'm selfharm free for a week y/n. Can you believe it?" He said proudly.
,,You are? That's amazing Severus, I am so proud of you. Really. You did this all by yourself, that's impressive." you said, taking his hand to give him physical contact. You wanted to hug him but you were too sick, which he understood so he band down and hugged you. Close. Really close.
,,Severus, don't hug me unless you want get sick too!" you said but he obviously did not care. Neither did you because all that mattered was him in this moment.
After he let go of you, he made some space on the right side of your bed to lay down next to you.
,,Do you really need nothing? I can get you anything you want." he asked again.
,,No, just stay here with me." you said sleepy with your head on his chest. Them you fell asleep.
He stayed with you the entire time. Minutes, hours past but he did not left. After a bit of time e could ( after a few tries) reach one of the books from your bedside table, to have something to do.
I am so proud of you
He was indescribable happy when you said this words. No one ever told him that before. Not his dad. Not his mother. No one but you. He wanted to get at least a week clean before telling you because he thought : then I have at least a small success, a day is nothing.
If she knew, she'll probably yell at me and tell me how stupid this thoughts are - but you didn't knew.
You woke up because of the really bad pain you had in your stomach. Before you realised that Severus was still there and it was already dark outside , you stood up and ran to the bathroom.
He was confused at first, but then he heard you throwing up in the toilet, so he immediately followed you.
He went into the room and saw you half asleep sitting on the toilet. He sat down beside you and put your hair out of the face, before he got a towel to clean your mouth.
,,You don't have to do this." you mumble.
,,Don't be silly of course I do." he replied with a tone in his voice that sounded like a matter of course.
You throwed up again and then you were really greatful for him, holding your hair.
Your body slumped and leaned against him.
,,What would I do without you, Sev? You're the best friend everyone could ever wish for. Thank you." was all you could say with all your left strength in your exhausted body.
Suddenly you felt arms under your knees and on your back - it was Severus, carrying you to your bed again. After he put you to bed and making sure you're comfortable, he went back I to the bathroom to get a wet towel for your forehead and a bucket, just in case.
He could have make you a potion but he didn't want to leave you - so he layed down on the same spot he was before to take care of you, like you did when he needed you the most.
That's what friends to.
You're the best friend anyone could wish for.
Then he fell asleep, with you in his arms.
(Got the idea when I was in bed trying to sleep and then I had to write this immediately down. It's not very long but I hope you enjoyed it. Ly, take care <33)
