Meghan's POV:
"Come on, its important." Izzy said as she ushered everyone in the house to the kitchen as well as Calum who just walked through the door after a drive from Stanford."Say this quick, I need sleep." He said.
"I already told Madi this but Ashton and I are-"
At the same time she said engaged, Luke said pregnant. Everyone eyed him and he shrugged before the girls and I freaked out and rushed over to her to see the ring.
"Oh my god!" I exclaimed." This isn't grandma's ring."
"Yes it is. It's not the first one but it's the one from the most recent marriage." Ashton said. Our grandmother was married three times and when she passed mum got her first ring to give to either Ashton or Harry and Ashton got stuck with the most recent ring which worked out for izzy because the man she married was filthy rich.
"Ah. Harry has her first right?" I asked and he nodded.
"And I forget what happened to the second." Ashton added.
"Lynette has it." I answered without thinking. Lynette was our dad's new wife and I know Ashton knows about her but he doesn't like talking about it.
The room fell silent before Luke awkwardly asked," so you're not pregnant right?" which earned him some looks but it eased the tension.

*"Thank you for squeezing me in. I'm sure I'm taking you from something important." Mrs. Lancaster, the guidance counselor, said when I walked into her office Monday morning.
"Just a The Growth Test for AP Calculus and I don't mind missing that." I replied as I sat down.
"Okay so I was going over your transcripts and I noticed you haven't applied to any schools yet. Are you in the process of applying or still looking? I know there are some schools that wanted to see you compete last track season but you didn't play so you may have to wait till indoor or next outdoor." Mrs. Lancaster explained.
"Yeah. I was planning on playing but some stuff came up-" being with Luke came up and worrying about Connor came up and I shouldn't have let it get in the way." But I plan on it this year. And I have been looking at some schools but I haven't started applying to anything yet." I replied.
"Oh! Where are we thinking? Community? University?" She asked.
"I want to be a surgeon so what schools can I think about? I know some have high standards but i have a four point three." I said.
"Stanford might be a good fit." She said while reading over my grades." Maybe UCLA. I'd have to look into it but the more important part is if you plan on playing in college."
"I don't know yet." I admitted." All of this just really depends on how far I'm willing to move away from my boyfriend and friends. As well as what I can afford."
"Ah yes, your pop star boyfriend." She said." Just think things over. Nothing has to be decided now and if it works better for you, taking a year off could do some good and give you time to get ready for this next step."
"Thank you Mrs. Lancaster, I'll let you know if I decide on anything." I told her before walking out of her office and back to class.
When I got home that afternoon, Luke was already there hanging out with jack and Madison.
"Hey." I said when I walked in. Luke smiled at me before finishing his conversation and following me upstairs.
"How was school?" He asked when we got to my room.
"It was fine. My counselor did talk to me about college. I haven't applied anywhere yet but the field I want to go into takes many years of schooling and a lot of money so I'm still trying to decide on how I'm going to make that work without putting you and I on hold." I explained as I unloaded my bag onto my desk while Luke sat in my desk chair.
"Putting us on hold?" Luke asked. I sighed before taking a seat on his lap.
"Getting a MD can take almost up to ten years of schooling and I assume neither of us want to wait till our thirties to get married. I just want you to know what you're getting into." I said.
"I love you and if I have to wait till I'm thirty to marry you, so be it." Luke replied before kissing me.
"I love you too. But please don't wait till our thirties to ask."
