"Uhm no, should I be worried?" She asked steering  her minced meat in the pot

"Jamila what rubbish are you spewing out now?" Manal asked

"What rubbish kuma?"

"Yes what rubbish" She gave a shut the fuck up look

"Oh I forgot you were going to tell her" she smiled nervously

"It's nothing serious fah I've been sick that's all"

"And you've been going out?" Inna asked turning around to look at her "when will you be serious with your health?"

"I am"

"You're clearly not from now on I don't want you out of the house"

"Yes boss"

"It's not funny,Jamila come help me pour the cheese,Manal cut open the buns"

"Ugh you're such a great chef" Jamila moaned

"Oh I know darling" she brushed her shoulders

"We'll I gotta go now I have lectures by 3"

"Ohhh thank you so much for coming" she stood up

"You're absolutely welcome love" they hugged and she left.

"So what's really going on?!"  She asked Manal once she got back inside

"I know there's something going on"

"He's good alhamdulillah"

"No no I mean everything he's treating you alright?"

"Mama, it's just Mama is breathing down on my neck again, you know Halima got married recently so she pressuring me"

"He told her to leave me alone, aure daga Allah neh, I'll eventually get married when it's my time"

"That's not it, now she's bringing suitors to come see me"

"For how long has this been going on?"

"A week or two"

"And I'm just knowing?"

"I'm really sorry, I'm just very tired with work and my promotion exams everything is just so worked up"

"When he comes back in sha Allah, It's Friday so he comes back after Asr"
