Softpaw felt weary after they got into the StreamClan camp, as she was still in shock from falling into the river.

But her ever present curiosity got the better of her body, dulling the pain as they entered the StreamClan camp.

There were cattails, reeds and tall grass and a few brambles that surrounded the camp, and the earth dipped into a slight hollow. But a slight tunnel in the hollow led to a cave where Creekpaw explained to Softpaw, kept the camp from flooding during times of storms and lots of rain.

The camp was bristling with tension as the FeatherClan cats came in. A Queen with golden brown fur quickly pushed herself with her swollen belly back into the nursery seeing them come in, while others simply flared and mumbled to themselves.

"I don't like this." Softpaw mumbled to Bluefeather who gave her an encouraging nudge. "We'll go home as soon as we can, Flamestar will come up with a plan I'm sure of it." She meowed gently.

Softpaw nodded, hoping it to be true. Until then, Softpaw would learn everything she could about why Reedstar did this, other then being a crazy fox heart with bees for a brain.

"Softpaw." Creekpaw meowed beside her making her jump. "Reedstar wants you to come with some of us, so we can show you how to hunt."

Softpaw's fur bristled slightly as she turned to Bluefeather who gave her a nod of approval. "We may not like Reedstar, but like it or not, for the current moment we are honorary StreamClan cats." She meowed gently as a white she-cat approached them.

"Bluefeather." She greeted, "Loinclaw, Softheart and the kits are restless, I know you are apart of our Clan now, but I also know this is hard, they look to you for support now. Can you calm them?"

"Of course Raccoonwater." Bluefeather meowed soberly, dipping her head and making her way to the nursery which was hidden away with brambles and ferns.

Softpaw turned to met Creekpaw's eyes and felt uneasy. It was weird being around StreamClan cats instead of her own Clan. And as Creekpaw led her to a calm pool just outside of camp she hated it here already. As she had to learn to swim in the river.

"Come on Softpaw, it's not so bad." Creekpaw encouraged her. He then waddled around in the water going deeper till he had to swim. "See! It's easy."

Softpaw watched him her pelt bristling in every direction. "I want to go back home." She meowed sadly pawing at the cold water which made her step away with unease.

Creekpaw looked to her with sympathy. "It's better this way, I'm sure Flamestar figured Reedstar and Owlfang would work together to take FeatherClan down, by Flamestar letting you guys come with us, she avoided death." He meowed and climbed out of the pool.

Softpaw perked her ears and her claws scratched the rocks under them. "I'm sorry, what?" She asked, "what do you mean Creekpaw?"

Creekpaw now looked uneasy. "I-I thought you guys figured it out, FireClan is starting to be taken over by Owlfang even though he's not leader, yet." He meowed.

Softpaw felt her fur bristle at the thought of the two fox hearts working together. She was going to put an end to this one way or another, she was going to get her Clan back, she was going to do it before Leaf-bare. She had too; her Clan would not survive countless wars during the cold season, which she guessed was why Flamestar had done what she done.

"I know what you're thinking, you can't stop them alone." Creekpaw meowed gently. "You need allies, a plan, and more experience. And you can't do it alone, it not for you to do."

Softpaw flicked her tail, "Reedstar doesn't see me as strong or anything to be wary of, Bluefeather, Loinclaw, and Softheart are the ones he'll keep an eye on. So it has to be me."
