Wooyoung was scared, Wooyoung was petrified. Everyone around him was dead, all wrapped in the red color of his own blood, the smell was foul, and the bodies were disturbing. Wooyoung couldn't help but sit down when he saw how his parents were without a hint of life.

The castle was silent, the castle was dead like everyone who ever lived there, the kings were dead. Wooyoung couldn't help crying as he held his mother's cold and bloody hand, he couldn't help but hug the lifeless body of his younger brother.

He had to get out of there, the murderers could return at any moment and the only thing they would find was the broken prince crying for his parents. Wooyoung tried to take the essentials, his knife, some food, a change of clothes, and a couple of maps from his father. He had to get out of there and hopefully find a place to spend the night.

He took his horse, the streets of the kingdom were full of blood and bodies, it was a real massacre. He tried not to see the bodies, especially that of the children and babies who were not guilty of anything, the little light of the day made the blood shine and it was truly disgusting. But what disturbed him the most was seeing that the beautiful waterfall that ran under the city was painted red, it was no longer a beautiful white.

"Damn bastards..."

He and his horse raced through the forest, moving further and further away from what was once a beautiful kingdom, what was once Daviel. The prince planned to stay as far away as possible, he had to escape from that nightmare.

"Wooyoung!" the black-haired man covered his ears for the unexpected scream, then proceeded to hit the man next to him, "Ouch! Why are you hitting me, you idiot !?"

"Because you're yelling in my ear, didn't your parents teach you well?"

"You're so boring, it makes me want to hit you, you know."

The prince rolled his eyes as he accelerated the pace of his horse, remaining next to a blond who smiled at him. The man's name was Yeosang and he was the one who found him nearly dead a few years ago.

"Your brother is annoying you know" the blond chuckle, "I don't understand how I've endured him these years."

"Because deep down you love him and you know that you consider him a brother" he extended his hand and combed the prince's hair, "Are you okay?"

"Why do you ask?" Yeosang looked at him in a way that the other understood what he was referring to, Wooyoung just sighed, "I don't know, distraught? Sad? Do not know..."

Yeosang simply took each other's hand and they stayed the rest of the way.

Wooyoung appreciated the blond's act, only they knew why this trip to Daviel's old kingdom was uncomfortable for the black-haired man. Yeosang was the first to find the prince, saved him from almost dying ill and took him into his home, taking care of him the best he could. He tried to make him feel welcome and not pressured to ask about his life.

It was difficult for the prince to adapt, the truth was that it was difficult especially at night, the nightmares and images of his deceased parents tormented him for months. The blonde never asked him about his dreams, he just tried to make him feel better with some tea or take him out of town and show him where he worked. Wooyoung was grateful to him.

Yeosang allowed him to live with him but he had to help him earn money or keep the house clean, the prince enthusiastically thanked him and decided to help him with the money. Little by little he opened up more with the blonde, telling little details of his life but it was after months that he told him about his old status. Yeosang did not judge, nor did he mock him, nor did he try to bribe him or call him a liar, Yeosang just hugged him.
