"Yeosangie, where are you my dear brawny blacksmith!" the silent place was filled with this cheerful voice, giving way to the figure of a handsome young man, "Look at you, working instead of coming to practice with me."
"What is offered to you?" The black-haired man didn't even look up, he continued concentrating on his small notebook, the other pouted and took a chair to sit next to the other demigod, "I hate that you do that."
"What thing?"
"That thing about not looking at me, put that little book down and come with me" he ran a hand through the other's hair, ruffling it although honestly he still looked just as cute, "Seonghwa will be mad at you for not going, then he'll be mad at me for not bringing you and we'll have a hateful mosquito bothering us all day."
Yeosang gave a small nasal laugh upon hearing the insect's comparison to his older brother, but he still didn't stop drawing, causing Wooyoung more frustration. The black-haired man crossed his arms and muttered short curses before hitting his boyfriend's neck.
"Wooyoung! You almost made me ruin this" when he looked at the son of Hermes he couldn't help but laugh, the other was full of dirt and with disheveled hair, "But what happened to you? An ogre used you as a broom?"
"Thank you for looking at me at last, but I would appreciate it if you don't make fun of my post-workout appearance, you should be the same" Yeosang cupped his cheeks while brushing off some of the dirt and mud, "I mean it when I say you have to come with me or we'll both be in trouble."
Yeosang sighed before looking at his notebook and closing it, she stretched before going to get his stuff while Wooyoung looked at him attentively. Smiling, the son of Hermes got up to take his boyfriend's hand and finally get him out of his cabin, heading to the training ground.
"What were you working on after all?"
"An artifact I heard about in a couple of old stories" in the distance he could see how his brother was looking at him angrily, damn perfectionist, "I feel like he's going to beat me up."
---
"Wooyoung...what are you doing?"
"A heart."
"No, no, that doesn't seem like it."
"Of course," he turned to see his boyfriend, raised his small creation, smiling, he shook it from one side to the other, "I can also create things like you and this is my gift to you."
"Honey, that doesn't look like a heart at all but I love that you're making an effort" with a slight smile he caressed him behind the ears but took the tools that the other was using to take them away, "How about you help me with something, You won't need my tools."
"Do you want me to paint? Or do you want me to forge something for the first time!" Yeosang shook his head as he laughed, it was adorable to see how the other got excited about such simple things that others would hate to do. In the hands of his boyfriend he placed cardboard and colored paper, "Make a gift box."
"Uhh? A gift box for what?" the black-haired man whispered a little 'it's a secret' before turning around, "You know I hate secrets Sangie, tell me what it is and who it's for!"
"In that drawer you have glue and colored tape, you have complete freedom to decorate it as you wish."
With those last words Yeosang entered his small workshop and continued working, leaving his boyfriend alone, confused and curious. Wooyoung for his part went to find what he needed to start his task.
"Damn man, how can you make me do this after saying it's a surprise" he put the box together with a frown, "Who is this for? Or rather, who asked him?
Questions and possible subjects went back and forth in his mind as he continued the packing, honestly the job was coming along quite well. Since he didn't know who would be the one to receive it he kept a little reserved with the decoration, he placed a couple of sequins and fancy jewels before making a pretty bow. He admired his humble work, he looked at the time on the clock that Seonghwa made, half an hour and Yeosang still didn't leave the workshop.
"I'm bored! Kang Yeosang!" he pouted, "If you don't come out right now I'll go for San!"
Nothing, with a snort he left the cabin and hurriedly went in search of the son of Zeus. Poor Choi San had to listen to his best friend complaining about his boyfriend who hid a gift for someone and how he epically ignored it. The boy secretly took his friend to the Hermes cabin.
"Woo how about you have a drink to relax."
"You want to get rid of me, right, you damn lightning eater" he didn't give the other time to respond, he gently hit his forehead and walked to his home, "I'll see you tomorrow in the archery."
He sighed as he entered his room, took a seat on his small bed and remained pensive. He doesn't know how long he was like this but looking at his desk he could see a small paper bag.
"Mingi brought me something?" when he opened it, he could see that obviously his brother was not the one who left it there, inside was the box that he made himself and when he opened it, he found a small fox made with nuts, metal and a beautiful green stone, "Oh my god...Yeosangie ."
