Arthur:

When you told him you only have a few more weeks to live, he kind of just stared, unsure how to react. He's not sure why but for some reason he thought him telling you about his TB and how he doesn't have long either might help and/or comfort you to know that even if you pass away, that he will also follow soon after. It was a weird thought, and one he didn't have time to think about, so he just awkwardly chuckled and said him too. When he saw your confused expression, he began explaining that he has tuberculosis and he doesn't have much longer either.

John:

He was taking a sip of his drink when you told him so he began choking on his drink. You asked him if he's okay while patting his back, but he slapped your hand away and loudly asked what you mean with that. As you explained why this is, he asked if doctors can't do anything. When you said no, he angrily asked why doctors exist then before telling you to visit some expensive doctor, they are expensive so they must be good and able to help. Before you could say no, he quickly assured you he will pay for it so go visit a better doctor. So he was in denial, claiming you just visited bad doctors and need to visit a good one, one who will be able to help you.

Dutch:

He was reading when you told him so he slowly looked up from his book, staring at you with these narrowed eyes before he shut his book. He shook the book before he whispered you have to be kidding him. His whole gang is falling apart, they are low on money, he barely has a plan, these people are depending on him to make a good change, and now he has to hear that his own lover will die in a few weeks, or even a few days. He asked you what about medicine but you told him there isn't any so he asked in a louder voice what about some doctor in Saint Dennis, they probably have the best doctor who is closest. But you told him you had it checked multiple times and you can just feel it, he cursed and tossed the book aside before rubbing his face with his hands with a big sigh. It took him a bit of time to wrap his mind around it, with a lot of complaining to Hosea as well, before he accepted it. But when he did, he asked you if there is anything he can do for you before you go.

Hosea:

People living long lives out here is rare so he always knew deep down that sooner or later you would come and say this. He wasn't sure what to do or say but he wished to be a comfort and a help to you so he took your hand and assured you he's still here for you any time you need him. If you need a shoulder to cry on and someone to ramble to about your situation, he will gladly be that person. He spent more time with you after you told him this, told you how much he loves you more, gave you more hugs and kisses than normal.

Charles:

He felt as if he couldn't properly think anymore, blinking a lot while opening his mouth to speak but then closing. When you asked if he's mad, he gave you this shocked expression before saying of course not, he's just in disbelief. Both had a long talk about it. He tried his best not to show how broken he felt, just tried his best to listen to every word you were saying, nodding a lot so you know he's paying close attention. At the end, he couldn't help but the tears that formed. He looked down, muttering you don't deserve this. He silently cursed before pulling you into a tight hug, tears finally rolling down, whispering he loves you.

Javier:

He was really hoping he didn't understand English that well anymore and he was simpe translating it wrong in his head. When you asked him if he's okay as he wasn't saying anything, he slowly asked how long. So you shrugged in reponse and said it's not certain when, just a few more days or weeks. He gave a slow nod, not sure what to say or do. He knew about these uncurable illnesses that can cause this to happen so he knew there was no way to help you besides give you a few more happy, fun days you can remember with a smile when the day finally comes, so he asked you if there is anything you wish to do before you die. He hesitated and glanced away when he said die, not wanting to think of you dying.

Kieran:

He let out a lot of "euhm", unsure what to say or do before he nervously asked if you are in pain. As you replied, he couldn't help but give you these sad, worried, sympathic eyes. You couldn't help but think he looked like an upset puppy with that expression. You assured him it's fine, which made him nervously ask how this is fine. So you told him how you have come to accept this fact and everyone dies at some point. He frowned, his fingers nervously playing with each other, before he mumbled he doesn't like you talking like that. When you said you are dying though so it's better to accept it than deny it the whole time, he mumbled he knows but he just doesn't like it.

Mary-Beth:

She couldn't help but gasp when you told her, her hands quickly covering her mouth. She kind of just stared at you, as if searching for any sign that this is some stupid joke, but she didn't see any sign which made her feel her knees become weak. She slowly asked how this happened. As you explained it, her hands were still over her mouth. She only noticed when you took her hands off her mouth, assuring her everyone dies at some point and you come to accept it now, she slowly nod. Of course she didn't want this, she wanted to grow old with you, have more fun moments with you, but there was nothing either of you could do to stop this. Normally everyone comes to her to talk to her when they have something on their mind and she would always know how to talk to them and comfort them, but now she didn't have an idea of what to say or do. Once this information was properly processed in her mind, all she could think of was that she can only do her best to make the last few days or weeks you have left to make them very happy and fun days.

Sadie:

She kind of just froze. First her husband dies and now her other lover will also die, she couldn't believe this. And what angered her more is that she can't do anything to stop this. She asked what about medicine, saying she hears medicine is getting better so surely there must be one out there that can help you. When you said there isn't, she clenched her teeth and fists, feeling so angry and miserable. She tensed up when you slowly took her hand and told her you are sorry you are putting her through this. She shook her head, softly saying not to apologize for something that isn't your fault and you can't control. She felt awful but she didn't want you to feel guilty or scared so she forced a smile and asked what mischief you want to be up to to form fun memories.
