Red Dead Redemption 2 x Reader Scenarios [hiatus]

When you get scared right before a robbery

I'm assuming most people have a MC who works in the gang and robberies are usually part of it so thought I should write this for those who have such MCs.

Arthur:

He said let's go but when you didn't move so he asked you what's wrong. When you whispered you are too scared, he stared, unsure what to do. Now was a good moment to do this heist so he has to be quick about this, but he isn't a good comforter, or at least that's what he thinks of himself. He was quick to put his hand on your shoulder, assuring you it will be fine and it's a small, quick heist and everything is planned out well so don't worry before awkwardly saying you both really have to do this quickly before the chance to do this goes away. When you nod, he hurried to go do the robbery. Once it was done, both hurried to your horses. Before you both split up, he asked you if you are gonna be okay splitting up. When you nod, he nod back, hurriedly climbing up his horse, yelling he will give you your share when you both meet up at camp again.

John:

He was eyeing the place, making sure everything is okay to go, before he could just feel your nervousness so he awkwardly asked if you are okay. When you shakingly nod, he stared before admitting he's also nervous and a bit scared but he's sure it will go okay. He chuckled, saying 90 out of 100 robberies you all do always go okay without being shot or caught. When your nod got more confident, he decided that was good enough and said let's go and hurried out his hiding spot to the place.

Dutch:

He knows sending a scared person to fight/rob something is basically asking for failure so he will quickly pull you aside, firmly holding your shoulders so you look at him, assuring you in a tone that he believes in you that you can do this and feeling nerves is normal, even he feels nervous before a heist, but don't let it get to you. He will keep giving you this pep talk until you are ready to do it. Before you do it, he will give you a questioning nod that asks you "are you sure?", to which you nod back a yes so he pulled his bandana on, saying let's get the show on the road.

Hosea:

He wasn't gonna make you do something you are scared to do so he said let's go back to camp then. When you asked him if that's okay to do, he assured you it's fine and he will make up an excuse to Dutch so don't worry about that either. As you both rode back, he kept glancing to you to make sure you are okay. Once back at camp, he stopped you before you entered the camp to ask you if you are feeling better now.

Charles:

When you clenched his sleeve with a trembling hand, saying you are too scared to go, he was quick to take your trembling hands in his, asking you if you wish to go back to the camp, assuring you that he can get someone else to do this if you can't. When you clenched his hands, saying you don't know, he decided to wait a bit with this robbery, pulling you back to the horses, not trusting to bring you on this heist and that he will just take someone else. As you both rode back, you couldn't help but apologize to him, but he assured you it can happen and it's okay, don't worry too much about it. Once back at camp, he asked someone else to join him, not saying you got too scared, not wishing for anyone to tease or mock you about it, he just said you suddenly felt very sick so he needs someone else to help him out.

Javier:

He assured you in Spanish in will all be okay and everything will go smoothly, calling you the nickname you like the most to help you relax. Before you both went to rob it, he gave you a kiss, assuring you you can do this before hurrying to the place. Once it was done and both were running away, he chuckled, saying he told you that you could do it.

Kieran:

He was also very scared, nervously asking if you both should just let someone else do it instead. When you told him you both have to put your share in for the camp, he let ut a weird, scared, nervous noise that clearly said he doesn't want to do this and isn't confident this will go well. As you both finished it and ran away as cops chased, he was mentally yelling he hates this and wished you both just went back to camp and didn't do this.

Mary-Beth:

She doesn't get to do this a lot so she was a bit scared, more nervous though. When she saw you also looking the same way she felt, she took your hand with a smile, assuring you you can both do this so don't worry. When you nod, she nod back before looking at the spot you both have to rob. When it was over and both were about to split up, she gave your cheek a kiss, praising you by saying you did a good job before riding away.

Saddie:

She gave you a "are you serious?!" look, shocked to hear this right before the robbery before she cursed, stuck between just barging in and just do it or comfort you and maybe miss the chance to rob the place. She decided to put her hand on your back, assuring you this will work and everyone gets a bit nervous and scared before a robbery but it will go okay so don't worry. She made sure to ask if you are ready to go before she rushes to go rob the place. If you say no, she will have to hold in a groan as she's not gonna force you to do this but means she has to go all the way back to camp to get someone else to help her out. If you say yes, she will gave you a confident nod to assure you it will all be okay before hurrying to the place.
