Sienna POV

Today has been a slow shift.

So slow, I think I fell asleep while standing as Harry stocks our fridges for the next shifts that come in. I think in total five people came in since 6 a.m and it is almost one o'clock.

I think it is going to rain soon, which makes sense because business is usually slow when the weather is bad. No one wants to come into town when it is going to rain, which means I get paid to lean against the counter and watch the clock. The sky looks gloomy, and over time the sky looks more and more dark, and dreary.

"What are you going to do after work?" I hear Harry ask behind me. I lean up from the counter I was slouched against, and turn around to face him. We have been making small talk all day because Harry seemed busy on his phone. Logan would always tell me what's going on in his world, and what was consuming his time, but Harry is different; I am figuring out new findings day by day about him.

"Probably just gonna home and nap," I say honestly. "I've been really tired today and I don't know why." I answer honestly. "What about you?"

"A few friends and I are going out to lunch," Harry says while glancing to me and then to his phone where a huge smile is planted on his lips. "Maybe after we can do a movie night with Ezra?"

"Sure," I say while watching his movements. His green eyes are steadied on his phone as he texts whomever. A pit forms in my stomach and I don't know why. "Where are you going to lunch?"

"I think the diner," Harry says a few moments later, making my skin crawl in frustration.

I turn back around from the boy, paying no mind to me, and lean against the counter like I was moments previous. It has only been five minutes since I last looked at the clock, and I sigh to myself.

I look to my phone and see a text message appear from my Mom.

Mom: will u be home on time today?

Me: why?

Mom: dad n I are going to lunch out of town tomorrow and we are leaving whenever u get home. u are off the next few days right?

Me: yippee

Mom: so is that a yes?

"We can close early today," Harry says behind me. I lock my phone before I curse out my Mom via text, for making me watch my brother for a few days so they can bone in peace. "A huge storm is coming in, in a few hours so boss lady said we can start closing up."

"Okay," I answer. I go from behind the counter and start locking up. I lock the door, and close the blinds to start the process of closing.

"What's wrong with you today, Anna? You seems very out of it." Harry says from across the store.

"Just tired," I comment with a sigh.

I head back from behind the counter and see Harry looking at me with a tilted head. "Anything I can do to help?" We make eye contact which seems to ease my nerves, which I hate.

"No," I say, playing off a fake smile. "We should be done locking up in fifteen. We filled all the milk, just need to do cash."

His phone goes off a few times, but his eye contact still remains with me. I try to hide my annoyance with how his phone has been an issue more and more. "Why are you getting pissed off?" Harry asks, furrowing his eyebrows at me.

"I am not," I say, playing it off. I tuck my hair behind my ears and stand up straighter in my stance.

"Why are you lying?" He steps closer towards my body, which gives me the shivers. Harry's hand rests on my lower back, and his lips touch my neck. "Have I done anything?"
