Sienna POV

Ellie asked me to drive her to work this morning, which I said was no issue. Since being with Harry this summer, I have been lacking as a friend and I feel bad.

I know Ellie and Harper understand, and they seem to be accepting of my "relationship", but I made it point to them that the rest of the summer I will try my best to be an active friend.

It is around noon now and our shift is done at 2 p.m. We just got a major rush a few minutes ago, so we are recuperating from that mess. We have a bunch of empty milk cartons scattered around the shop, and dirty blenders and steam glasses in the sink.

"Have you heard from Logan since the breakup?" I hear Ellie asks as we are getting the store back in order.

I look up from me cleaning the counters and look in her direction. "No," I say honestly. "I understand though, we aren't together and we didn't promise to be friends after the breakup. I was with him for a bit, so to think not even a hey how are you? is odd." I admit. I don't think about Logan often. He was a good boyfriend, never mistreated me, and always made me feel wanted. I did care for him a lot though, but I know I have a hard time showing my feelings.

"So I assume he doesn't know about you and Harry?" My friend questions.

"No," I say. No one knows besides Ellie and Harper. My friends back home know Logan and I split, and I am sure he told them why. "I feel like if I only reached out to say you were right, would be more salt in the wound and he doesn't deserve that." I say honestly.

"If it didn't end the way it did, would you have broken up with him to be with Harry?" She asks, making me fall silent as an answer. I never thought about it.

"I don't know," I say honestly. "Going into this summer Harry and I never talked. I think the only reason why we did work things out was because Ben embarrassed Logan at the one party." I say, making Ellie nod. "How are you and Dale?" I question, turning the focus away from my troubled love life.

"Good," She answers with a glistening smile. Her brown eyes twinkle a bit from how she talks about him, which makes me happy for her.

Ellie soon excuses herself to the bathroom, and I take out my phone to see what is new on the social world.

Mom: how is work?

Dad: when will u be home?

That's odd.

Harry: how is ur shift lovely

I smile by the text from Harry and decide to message him back first.

Me: it is ok. quiet busy on this Monday afternoon. what r u up to?

Harry: I am w my friends. then I promised my mom I would help cook dinner since Gemma is visiting

Harry: I think ur parents said you guys r coming over for dinner too

Me: oh are we?

Me: good thing I didn't make plans

Me: they did text me asking when I will be home I just haven't answered lol

I exit my messages with Harry and text my parents back.

Me: I will be home after work Dad

Me: work is alright Mom.

I return back to my messages with Harry and relax my back into the counter.
