Pokémon X male reader insert (future master)

beginning the journey

Hello boys and girls here is the next chapter of my Pokémon story which I hope that all of you are enjoying. Now let's get down to the question of the day and that is what starter do you think y/n will pick? I know who it will be but I want to know who you guys think It will be. Now let's get on with the story.

Y/n POV

I stood out in the back garden with both dratini and meowth as the two seemed to have grown an attachment to me, even when I tried to let them go back into the wild they just went to me. Right now I was training the two of them.

Y/n:"okay, dratini use use thunderbolt?"

Dratini then shot a small thunderbolt at me as I dodged the attack while looking at meowth.

Y/n:"now meowth, use payday!"

Meowth then crossed his arms before opening his arms back up again sending balls of glowing light coming out of the charm on the top of its head, at me but I dodged them with a bit of struggle. Both of them are trying to hit me since this it the training style that I have decided to adopt for myself, I could have them attack trees but trees won't move around like Pokémon will. As both of the Pokémon still tried to to hit me dratini then stopped using thunderbolt and changed to use dragon rage, I dived to the side avoiding the attack but meowth seized the moment and used scratch on my back.

Meowth:"meowth."

Then our battle stoped as I stood up, I scratched the back of meowth's ears while dratini slivered over to me, I picked dratini up and him on my shoulder for him to lay on.

Enrica:"y/n! Get to bed! It's getting dark and you need to get up early to chose your starter Pokémon!"

I looked to the front door of my house seeing mom standing there with furfrou holding Yamper in its mouth like a chew toy.

Y/n:"okay, well be in soon!"

Now that I look around I see that it is starting to get dark so I walk in with dratini on my shoulder and meowth by my side, we had all been training really hard for like two weeks. When we we were inside mom closed the door behind me, I walked into the living room waving to infernape before heading upstairs to my bed to get a good night's sleep to chose my Pokémon tomorrow. When I reached my room I walked to my bed and placed dratini on his side pillow before picking up meowth also putting him on my bed, then I went into the bed putting the covers over me before going to sleep with both Pokémon curling up to me.

Y/n:"tomorrow, we will show the world what we are made off."

Then I went to sleep dreaming of what my Pokémon team would be like.

Timeskip to the morning.

I quickly arose from my sleep as I felt something repeatedly hitting my stomach, I looked down with my vision still a little bit blurry and saw it was meowth jumping up and down. I placed my hand on top of meowth's head with a smile.

Y/n:"I'm up, you don't need to be so violent."

I then dragged myself up off of my back as meowth leaped off of my bed and out of my room, I started to undress from my pajamas and put on my clothes. Once I was fully dressed I walked downstairs where meowth and dratini would be since they are usually the first one to to eat. Once I was downstairs I saw that there bowls were on the ground and they were eating out of them as was the rest of moms main team.

Enrica:"look who's up early."

I looked to mom seeing that she was eating some toast with jam on it while leaning against the counter.

Enrica:"I would recommend you get something to eat before you go."

I nodded as I passed all of the Pokémon who were eating, once I reached the kitchen counter I took a slice of bread and placed it into the toaster.
