Pokémon X male reader insert (future master)

we meet again

Hello there boys and girls, I hope that all of you are having a good day and are ready for the next chapter of my Pokémon story which I hope that all of you are enjoying as much as I am writing it for you guys and girls. Now for my question of the day and that is if you were a Pokémon on y/n team what do you think your opinion on him would be and why. Just to make sure this does not turn into an essay so lets just say in general. For me I would have to say that I would be quite annoyed to straight up angry with him since he is not above hitting his own Pokémon or having the other Pokémon on the team attack me but I do think that his way would breed hardened Pokémon who you would have a hard time beating if you were at the same stage in your journey as y/n. Now with that all said and done I would like to know what you all think and lets get on with the story shall we.

Y/N POV

Walking along the path to get to the next city and get my next gym badge I ate the scoop of ice cream that I had picked up before I left Saffron city, it might have been a foggy, creepy place, but at the very least they knew how to make a good ice cream. When I finished I looked down at Dratini.

Y/n:"we are going to do some target practice."

Then I threw the cup that I ate the ice cream out of into the air .

Y/n:"Thunderbolt."

From the dot on his forehead Dratini then shot out a blast of lightning to the cup destroying it with the attack leaving nothing but black smoke in the air that I walked past without a care in the world but while I was walking I could hear something in the grass around where we are walking. While I was looking around trying to spot what was following me all I could see was the ruffling of grass but if it would not come out to face me then I doubt that it would be a strong Pokémon if it has to hide in the grass to look at the strong as they pass you by, leaving you just as weak as you were before you saw us. While continuing to walk the Pokémon continued to follow us but not coming out of the grass and it was at this point I wished that I had brought Magmar with me but he was with my mother right now and my other Pokémon that I have on me right now do not have a fire move or one that would spread out a large amount of damage so without hoping for a precise shot I would just have to wait for the Pokémon who is following us to get board to leave or will come out and reveal what it was, if it is not a strong Pokémon waiting for the right time or a rare Pokémon then I will be angry and that Pokémon had better be fast and run as far away from me.

Y/n:"so, When we get to the next gym I do not care what Pokémon the gym leader specialises in, it could be dragon or ice types but you will be battling."

Dratini:"Dratini."

I nodded and continued to walk reaching into my bag to see if the sandwich that I bought was still together and I was glad, that would be my lunch for this walk. Closing my bag back up and continuing to walk on the path I saw in the distance there seemed to be a wooden sign off in the distance that had words that said Celadon Gym was twenty miles away, still got a long way to go before we get there but it also mentioned that there was a Pokémon centre ten miles away. Walking past the sign I continued to walk past it without a complaint while the mysterious Pokémon continued to follow behind me.

Y/n:"tell me Dratini, do you think that Pokémon who keeps following us will be anything noteworthy?"

When I looked at Dratini, he seemed to have a confused look on his face, most likely he did not know what would be in there but before we could ask anymore questions the Pokémon then began to run up ahead of us before it then popped out of the grass and blocked our path, when I saw it I knew that it would be a good chance to get a rare Pokémon as in front of me was an Eevee but not just any Eevee, this was the same Eevee that I saw near where that Charmander was sitting on top of the rock.
