Ethan stood, eyes lingering on the white marker board filled
with red X's and blue O's drawn over the permanent
markings of a basketball court. His thoughts, however,
weren't on the new offenses he had been working on.
Instead, they had drifted into a vast realm of uncertainty,
second-guessing, and doubt. It seemed to happen often
anymore.
It was very much unlike him though. In the past, he had felt
confident of his decisions; he was focused and determined,
persistent and ambitious. The poster child of success,
seemingly containing all of its necessary attributes. He had
the awards, the trophies, the plaques and accolades of
proof. But Ethan's mind kept centering around one thought:
