Ethan took his first bite. Julianne waited. "Please like it.
Please like it." She mumbled to herself as she watched him.
He looked up at her, nodding his head. "Not bad. I like it."
Julianne smiled as relief swept over her and picked up her
fork to feed her hungry stomach.
She wanted to tell Ethan all about her day at school. The
complaints she had to deal with from both teachers and
parents. A few legitimate, but most nothing more than
gripes from self indulgent assholes. She felt like she had
her hands and schedule full as principal. Venting to Ethan
always helped make her feel better, lighter.
Julianne looked up from her plate. Ethan apparently really
meant what he said, even though she didn't doubt his
words, for he was nearly finished with his meal. She
decided she'd wait to talk to Ethan.
