QT - Nine Lives

First life

The palace guards were surprised to see the Prince Qing riding the horse to the Palace. They didn't dare to stop the Prince Qing but one of the guards ran inside the palace to inform the emperor.

Su Qing also didn't stop at the gate like the original owner. The original owner didn't even know his influence and powers. He unmounted from his horse at the inner gate of the palace and saw the head eunuch waiting for him. The head eunuch bowed to him "His majesty the emperor is waiting for your highness in garden. Please come with this servant"

Su Qing signalled him to show the way and followed him. He saw an handsome middle aged man sipping tea in the garden. His powerful aura isn't any less than him. The Emperor perceived his gaze and looked up at him. His eyes warmed up "Ah...Xiao Qing you are here...Zhen was surprised when the guard informed us that you came here."

Su Qing bowed respectfully to him "Long live the Majesty. May your Majesty lives for thousands of years"

The Emperor waved his hand "Don't be so formal. I don't want to live so many days. We are not in the hall anyway.  Sit beside me. You haven't visited Zhen  for a long time."

Su Qing sat down beside him and the servant place a cup of tea in front of him respectfully but he didn't touch the tea and placed a golden roll in the table.

The Emperor looked at him with doubt. His heart shook a little "Little Qing. You don't want Zhen to take back your seal. Do you? Is Little Qing angry about what happened that day? Zhen punished Jiakai for his stupdity"

Su Qing shook his head "This servant doesn't care about this matter. You majesty. This servant just don't want to be weak anymore.  As Your majesty know, this servant is trained from childhood to be a great empress but now this servant want to be free. This servant will take any punishment your majesty want to give. Kindly free this servant from this responsibility."

Emperor sighed at the stupidity of his son. At first he wanted to give the throne to his first son but it seems his stupid son isn't reliable. He have to chose another suitable candidate for the throne. "Then if anyone catches your eye then don't forget to inform us. Zhen will issue your marriage decree." 'It would be good if it's any of our son or daughter'

Su Qing nodded. The emperor continued "but little Qing will be always the Prince Qing of Yan Empire. Zhen can't do anything about it"

Su Qing looked down dejectedly but his lips curved up. A evil glint flashed in his eyes.

Unfortunately The Emperor only felt upset he saw him looking down. He changed the topic. "Zhen was going to see the General Xu. Will little Qing come with Zhen. General Xu is our only sister great Princess's only son, Xu JinXin. Our Sister died early and Duke Xu didn't get marry after that but he left for war and our nephew also only knows how to fight the war. But at the last war, he is injured gravely. Zhen don't know how to comfort him. Nobody still knows about it but maybe Zhen can't hide it for very long.  The ambassador from the neighbour Empire are coming for the annual banquet. He have to attend it and then......sigh*"

Su Qing licked his lips greedily when he heard the name 'Xu JinXin'  and nodded his head "yes your majesty"
