QT - Nine Lives

Su Qing opened his eyes and found himself in the black space with Xitara. He looked around and saw the old man again.

The old man was drinking his wine but he answered Su Qing's questions. "So how's it?"

Su Qing looked at the old man carefully and asked "where is Xin?"

The old man laughed out "Don't worry about him. You worry about yourself rascal. You have changed your nine lives for his each life. Is he really worth it? What if he forgets you.....then what can you do?"

Su Qing still asked him stubbornly "where is my husband? He is worth all of my love and care. You have to fulfill your deal"

The man looked at him seriously "Come with me"

They both walked into more darkness and saw someone lying in the stone bed surrounded by wave of lights.

Su Qing wanted to go near Xin but the old man stopped him "Don't go near him. He is not a Demon like you. He have to fight by himself to wake up. You have helped him with everything you could but he have to  take the last step."

Su Qing waited beside the stone bed  with the old man. He saw a tint of worry in the face of the old man. But it also disappeared with the time. It calmed his heart but he was still worried until Xin woke up. Xitara waited for the lord with his master. He have witnessed everything. Their love, pain, hatred. He nudged Su Qing who was staring at Xin unblinking

Xin was also looking at his beloved. His black eyes looked straight at Su Qing. He got off the bed and hugged Su Qing tightly "Ah Qing....QingQing"

Su Qing hugged the man and cried bitterly to see him alive and well. He can't forgot how bloody that scene was.

Xin was stabbed in heart by his own sect fellows just because....Xin fell in love with a Demon.

Xin checked him from head to toe and sighed "it's good that you are alright. I thought you also died with me and we reincarnated together"

Su Qing looked at him "you remember?"

Xin was a little confused "remember what?"

Su Qing bit his lips "those nine lives"

Xin nodded "en"

Su Qing looked at the old man was grinning ear to ear and stroking his beard. "You lied"

Old man chuckled "so what? Come and bite me"

Xin looked at the old man and knelt down on the spot "Disciple Tang Xin  greets master"

Su Qing was shocked as he saw the old man smiling satisfiedly. "Rascal. You still know that I am your master."

Xin didn't look up but he could hear the anger in his Master's voice. "You brat dare to hook with a cat Demon behind your master. Not only that, but you paid respect to the sect master and left the sect without my knowledge. You answer me truthfully, have you not taken advantage of my retreat"
