QT - Nine Lives

Third Life

Su Qing frowned in his sleep as he opened his eyes with a pain in his back.  Xitara's voice floated to his ear " calm down Master. You are injured."

Su Qing related and remembered that he is in now in his third life. "Give me the information of the body and...life"

Su Qing, the unwanted heir of the Su family because his parents died when he was young and the legal hair become thorn in everyone's eyes. But his uncles can't throw him away for their good reputation in the society. So they made Su Qing look like a ungrateful, shameless and timid person. But they didn't know that Su Qing is actually the leader of the assassination team which works under the President of Country. He was chosen and trained because his genius mind. When everyone in Su family thought he was drinking and whoring outside, Su Qing was actually assassinating the enemies of the country or killing the drug dealers with his team.

Everything was alright but the end of the world came too suddenly. Everyone either developed a fever or  they fainted suddenly and  they  either woke up as zombie or ability user. As for those who didn't show any symptoms were normal persons like always.

At first Su Qing thought his fever came because of his back injury as he was injured in his last mission and the treatment was delayed because of some issues. But when he woke up, he heard someone scratching his door. He opened the door while someone attacked him. In a reflex, he kicked the person but the rotten person stood up again as he drooled looking at him. Then he hit him with him palm but a thunder came from his palm and hit the rotten person. Later he knew that it's the end of the world. His  whole team was almost wiped out  leaving only 4 members except him in which there are only 2 ability users. Su Qing was upset but he followed the  order from higher ups and protected the president to the base camp. They were only responsible for the president's safety. But the president's niece fell in love with him. She was always jealous with the girl in his team especially when he rejected her feelings. She shouted and pointed at them "you are rejected me because of her right?"

Su Qing ignored her and continued his job but he never thought that his whole team will die because of this only mistake. That girl plotted and managed to send his team to horde of zombies. Even if he was a level 6 user, he was completely useful in front of so many high level zombies. He saw his teammates died one by one in front of eyes. He didn't fight anymore when he saw his only family was gone and let the zombie bite him but with the last sanity he pulled the culprit with him. But he regretted that he was useless. He couldn't save his friends.

Xitara murmured "SORRY Master. We came in the wrong time. We should have come during the apocalypse but we came in before three days of end of the world."

Su Qing took a pill from his storage to heal his injury. The injury got healed soon as he brushed his long silver hair and tied them into a bun.

He called a number "you all come back before tomorrow."
