Third life

Su Qing was really irritated this few days when he couldn't find Xin. Noone could remember Xin except him. Everytime he ask his team about Xin, they would forget this topic in a while . It was like that Xin was a mirage and the mirage broke down when he wanted to touch it.

Neither he had found the niece of the president. The earlier plot was diverted because of his resignation. So he didn't meet the girl at the given time. Zero knocked at the door of the leader. Su Qing didn't opened his eyes as he was leaning back on the sofa before the window. "Come in"

Zero was stunned. Helooked down and didn't dare to stare at the magnificent beauty  in front of him. "Boss....the captain of 1st team is here to ask for help. Some zombies are high leveled and cunning near the river. The military doesn't want to take risk as many zombies have started to accumulate there in this few days. He.."

Su Qing's finger twitched a little as he frowned "he is okay with our rule?"

Zero nodded "yes. He would not pressure us to attack the zombies"

Su Qing didn't say anything else and waved his hand.

Zero closed the door behind him closely and sighed. Simon was waiting  for him outside. He wrapped his arms around Zero's waist and pulled him closer to his chest. "Is leader okay?"

Zero shook his head helplessly "I don't think so. But he is also not saying anything to us. By the way he agreed to go out with the 1st team"

Simon was stunned "really? He didn't go out after leveling  up last month"

Zero nodded and tried to push him. Simon tightened his grip and said intimately "honey. Hubby is hurt. Come on, comfort hubby."

Zero glared at him but let Simon kiss him.

Su Qing was very angry with this lovebirds but he didn't disturb them and stared at the red moon outside. The demonic energy is very thin now. He could hold onto until now because Xin was here with him. Now his core is not within his reach and the energy is being spend maintaining human form everyday. Maybe he would not be able to maintain the human form before returning to the base.

Xitara looked at her master and sighed.

Su Qing sat in the passenger seat where as Rick was driving the van. The whole van was unusually silebt because they can sense that their leader is in a bad mood.

Su Qing just closed his eye and continued to cultivate. So he can maintain the human form a little longer but the energy being spend is much more than the energy being absorbed. Without his core, he is in very difficult position.

He opened his eyes when the van stopped driving. He saw a pack of zombies working in the N Town. They were like any other normal humans before the apocalypse who would make house, repair cars, supervise the workers or plant trees.

Sammy scratched his head stupidly "what's going on here? Maybe i am Dreaming?"
