QT - Nine Lives

Third life

Xin took the sleeping cat upstairs under the zombie's eyes. Xin frowned and Noone dared to look at them again. Everyone is worried their life okay. They only regained their consciousness a few days ago and now they don't want to die young.

Xin put the little guy in the fluffy blanket but Su Qing frowned with unsatisfaction and spread out his paws to look for the source of comfort. Xin's lips curved up unknowingly and he took Su Qing in his arms. Su Qing slapped him with his soft paw. Xin hold the disobedient paw and dropped a kiss in it.

Maybe Su Qing was satisfied, he didn't struggle anymore and slept in his arms sweetly.

Xin sat there stiffly. He didn't dare to move as Su Qing slept in his arms. Someone knocked at the door but he just glanced at the door. A small groan could be heard outside the room but he didn't care abd waited for Su Qing to wake up.

Outside the door, Alex hold Robin as he looked at him speechlessly "I told you not to knock the door."

Robin rubbed his aching head "how could I know that a cat is more important than the subordinates to the king."

Alex looked at the room with complex emotions and dragged Robin away from the room. Robin wanted to struggle "but the other kings...."

Alex shook his head "Not now. we will come later. We are still able to hold them ourself"

There are knly some countable high leveled zombies in the whole zombie city, they are two of the high leveled zombies. Maybe there ability was strong that they were able to hold onto until now. That time they thought they are going to die but the king saved them. They didn't know that they are no longer a human. Their zombie instinct made them bow to the king. They decided to follow him without knowing his identity as a zombie.

After  while  when they saw humans  got attacked by the zombies, they asked "Boss, why are they getting attacked by the monsters but we are safe  here?"

The king looked at them like he was looking at idiots. He remembered the words that changed their whole life "Because we are also one of them, Zombies"

That time they came to know that the man in front of them is the zombie king, only one step away from Zombie Emperor. There are 4 Zombie king except him and they all are competing to become a Zombie Emperor because only one of them can be the Emperor while the other kings only have two option in front of them. One to submit and other to die.

When they came out, they saw some other high leveled zombies "Aizel why are you so nervous?"

Aizel looked at them "Aurora is still fighting with the zombies outside. She send me here to inform the king that we are being attacked by 2 kings together while the 3rd one is maybe waiting to loot after the fight and the 4th one have announced his neutrality."

Alex and Robin looked at each other and sighed.

Aizel had a bad feeling "what happened?"

Alex looked up "The king doesn't want to meet anyone now."

Aizel was speechless "I am going back then"

Alex nodded "Robin ypu stay here and inform the king as soon as he comes out. I will go with him"

Robin rolled his eyes "okay"
