Mir stepped back and gave a weak smile as he watched Joon pull Kenzie into his arms. He closed his eyes as fear and anger started to knot up inside the pit of his stomach, but soon his anger masked over with an enthusiastic mood change. He didn't want Kenzie to know that he was still upset and he didn't want Joon to start dating her. But he wanted her to be happy. He needed her to be happy.
Smiling again, Mir staggered from the sitting room into the studio. Stopping the in the doorway he let out a long, painful sigh before the others followed him into the room. Scratching his head and trailing his fingers through his thick hair, Mir looked around the room. "Well- that was interesting. So where do we start?" he choked.
Kenzie flopped herself onto one of the fancy producer chair and twirled herself around. Mir watched as she traced the outline of her lips with her fingers and palms. The lips he had kissed. "Hmm," she started. "I don't know, but it's sure as heck not up to me! It's up to you guys!"
The men all stood there in silence, watching Kenzie twirl in the chair. Cheondung stared at Savannah, as a smile stretched from ear to ear."Let's go dancing!!" His smile was enthusiastic and persuading. "Awe, c'mon, guys!" he whined. "Let's not stay here all day! We should go have some fun! Besides, G.O. is still sick! It's not like we can work on anything anyways!"
Mir, Joon, and Seungho were all exhausted and a bit shaken up from the fight earlier between Mir and Joon. The three of them stared at their young jovial friend in disbelief. Cheondung scratched his head and slowly sank into an empty chair. He placed his hands in his lap and pouted.
Seungho's silent complaints turned into a smile, as he sided with Cheondung."Why don't we go out, guys? I think that would be good for all of us. We can get something to eat."
Kenzie 's chewed on the tips of her fingernails as she waited for Mir and Joon to respond. She was expecting a negative reply from the both of them, but felt a sigh of relief as they both nodded their heads in agreement. Kenzie let out a cheerful giggle and jumped up from her chair. "Aright! This sounds great! I don't know about you guys, but I am hungry!"
Joon smiled to himself, as he watched Kenzie dig through her purse, looking for her car keys. He kept a close eye on Mir until he knew that he had exited the room. His cold hands reached out and quickly pulled Kenzie back, before she had the chance to follow Mir.
Joon roughly twisted Kenzie around with hands and looked intently down at her.
"Oh! Hi, Joon!" she retorted, somewhat taken aback by his forceful embrace. She tucked a long strand of dark hair behind her ear and returned Joon's gaze.
He smiled at her nervousness. "Kenzie, I need you to tell me the truth. Was everything you said true?" Joon observed as her eyes traveled from his face, to his throat, to his chest. He gently lifted her chin with one hand and permanently glued their eyes together. "Did you and Mir really kiss" And if you do truly like me, well..." he paused for a moment and swallowed hard. "I really return your affection, and I have wanted us to go out on a date for the longest time, but I was afraid that you did not feel the same way for me."
Kenzie flushed scarlet, letting her chin sink into the warmth ofkenzie Joon's right hand. "Of course I like you, Joon! I liked you a lot! Who wouldn't? I really do hope that we have a chance to go out soon."
Their silence rang throughout the room and Kenzie felt Joon pull her body closer to her own. She was interested in their possible dating, but there was no need to fall quickly into a physical relationship. She gave a nervous laugh and yanked her body away. "I think we should go. They are probably waiting for us."
Joon closed his eyes and sighed. He wanted to be alone with Kenzie, and he really did not seem to care about what happened between Mir and Kenzie earlier. Mir's feeling really didn't matter anymore. Joon had won. "Yeah – you are right. Let's get going."
Mir stood on the outside of the studio, hidden from Joon and Kenzie's sight. He couldn't hear anything through the sound proof walls, but the thought of them being alone boiled his blood. "Why is it always Joon?" Mir thought. "Everyone loves Joon. Joon, Joon, JOON!!"
Mir eyed Kenzie and Joon one last time before he stormed outside. There was absolutely nothing he could do. Mir had lost.
He shoved passed Cheondung and Seungho slamming the door to his car as he slid in. The two didn't really notice that he was angry and really didn't want to bother with him right now.
Cheondung sighed and just hoped for the best. He gently opened the passenger seat and sat down next to Mir. "Are you alright, Mir?"
Mir turned his head, smoothly and coolly, disguising his hurt. "Nothing's wrong." Mir turned the keys in the transmission, the car harshly vibrating under the two men. "So where are we going?"
Cheondung closed his eyes in relief. "Oh, good! I wasn't sure if we were going to have another drama thing or not." Mir turned to him and shot him an annoyed look. Cheondung bit his lip and figured that Mir wasn't really in the mood to talk about Joon. "Oh, and yeah, I don't know. We can just follow Seungho."The second part to my fanfic is here!!
