Lucas's pov // Mathews' Residence, two weeks after the dance
"Hey, Beautiful."
"Hey, Handsome. I love your outfit." (a/n: same outfits from "take on the world 🌎// lucas f.)
"Why thank you, M'am," I say while tipping an imaginary cowboy hat.
"Of course, Bubba." Before our conversation can continue, there is a knock at the door. I wonder who that could be? Maxine's mom walks over to the door to reveal someone I don't know.
"OJ?!"
"Max a million?!"
They then run over to each other, hug, and yell excitedly, "AHHHH!"
"This was your surprise"
"Yep and guess what?"
"What?"
"Me and my family are officially moving across the hall!"
"Get out!"
"I'm dead serious."
"No, way!"
"Yes, way!"
"You're gonna make me cry."
