"Oooh, Babe! Turn it up!" I do as I'm told, blasting the music (start playing the song)
"You're such a dork," I yell with a grin on my face.
This makes her stick out her tongue. "So?"
"I just love you..."
"I love you, Lu."
We finally make it to our destination by the end of the song; the beach, our hands swinging back and fourth.
"It's almost been a year since we met."
"Oh, wow. Really," she asks.
"Yes, really. Best year of my life."
She blushes. "Me too."
It really has been the best year of my life. Before Maxine, I was stuck. I thought I had to be with Riley because everyone was pushing us together. But now, I'm the happiest I've ever been. She now has the key to my heart and I will never take it from her and give it to someone else. She's my forever...
