*Interior. Mall. CJ and Spencer are walking around.*
CJ: I cannot believe you actually spent almost 500 dollars on shoes that I could use for arts and crafts.
Spencer: Look at it as an investment!
CJ: An investment in what? Stupidity?
Spencer: Hey man. Don't hate the player. Hate the game.
DJ: I'm really starting to hate both.
*Melissa and her friends walk past. She turns around.*
Melissa: Hey! Are you CJ? CJ Aquino?
CJ: Um...yeah that's me! I'm sorry who are you?
Melissa: Oh sorry! How silly of me. I'm Melissa! My older brother Mason played guitar for your school choir.
CJ: Mason Francinni? Yeah! That was like...2 years ago? Where did he go after he graduated!
Melissa: East Mesa!
CJ: Oh is that a community college or...
Melissa: Detention center!
CJ: Damn..well good for you guys!
Spencer: Hey. I'm Spencer. CJ's best friend.
Melissa: Oh yeah! Aren't you the guy who broke the Fernando High record for most burritos eaten in the cafeteria?
Spencer: 11 in 15 minutes. Reigning and defending title holder.
Melissa: Impressive. Anyways do you guys wanna walk around with us for a few minutes?
CJ: Oh sure! Just for like half an hour though. We have an event to go to tonight.
Melissa: Oh well we all need to start catching up then.
