*Interior. Angelina's room. The girls are getting ready to go to the restaurant.*
Angelina: So do you like the shoes?
Kaylee: Oh. Um. Yeah. I do. Thanks.
Angelina: You're still thinking about what that girl said aren't you?
*Kaylee remains silent*
Angelina: Well if you are, stop. I don't think you can even comprehend how pretty you actually are. We've known each other since you and my brother were 3 years old and I was a baby. You were beautiful then and you're beautiful now.
Kaylee: How could you even know that? You were a baby.
Angelina: Pictures. Pictures Kaylee. Girls like that are probably insecure about a laundry list of things. That's why they say stuff to other girls so they can feel better about themselves. She may be skinny and have great hair and whatever. But thanks to her personality, none of that matters. If she knew any better, she'd want to look more like you.
Kaylee: You really don't think I'm big?
Angelina: Hell no! And you shouldn't think so either. No one in our lives thinks that you are. And if you were, so what? You'd still have an amazing personality, great sense of humour, great sense of style and you're an amazing best friend. Don't let what other people say get to you. It's not worth your time.
Kaylee: I get that. Thanks. But what if guys don't feel that way about me? I know I shouldn't matter what guys think but you can't deny that a lot of them base everything on appearances first.
Angelina: Well that may be true. But if a guy doesn't like you simply because of the way you look, he isn't the guy for you.
*Scene transitions to CJ's room. Guys are already ready for the night.*
CJ: We clean up pretty nicely man.
Spencer: Yeah we do. I never thought I would look good in a tie.
CJ: That's because I had to tie it for you.
Spencer: Okay and? I'm the one wearing it.
CJ: Okay. Fine. So if I ever give you a black eye, you can take the credit.
Spencer: ... Awesome!
CJ: I gotta keep this shirt clean though. I'll probably wear it when I meet up with Melissa again.
Spencer: Um...CJ. About that. Remember when I was gonna tell you something before we left the mall?
CJ: Oh yeah. What was that about.
Spencer: Do not go out with her.
CJ: What? Why?
Spencer: She isn't the girl for you. Trust me on this?
CJ: Oh come on! Why? What's the deal? Want her for yourself or something because...
Spencer: No no no. Not at all. I don't even wanna be around her.
CJ: Oh I see. You don't like her. Well too bad dude because if anything were to happen between me and her, it doesn't concern you.
Spencer: What I'm about to say honestly might change your mind.
CJ: Give it up Spencer. I let you buy those stupid shoes so why won't you let me go out with Melissa?
Spencer: Okay how about stop being an Ass and let me tell you why. She said somethings that you wouldn't be too fond of.
CJ: I bet she did.
Spencer: You really don't believe me? I haven't told you what she said.
CJ: Well whatever it is, doesn't matter. Is it about me?
Spencer: No.
CJ: Is it about you?
Spencer: Well no but...
CJ: Then just forget it.
Spencer: Fine. But you'll regret it. Trust me.
