"Leave me alone. I'm useless." Lumine harshly said. Albedo and Kazuha looked surprised. 

                          
"But-" Albedo began. 

                          
"Just leave me alone!" Lumine shouted. Kazuha softly tugged at Albedo's sleeve.

                          
"Lets just go." Kazuha whispered. 

                          
"Fine." Albedo replied. He gave Lumine one last glance before turning to leave. 

                          
Lumine sobbed as she buried her face in her hands. She felt her heart break and the cold winds press hard into her back. 

                          
"You shouldn't be here. Move." a voice spoke harshly behind her. She recognized the familiar silhouette of Xiao through her vision blurred by tears. 

                          
"Why?" she asked boldly. Xiao glared at her with his sharp golden eyes. 

                          
"There is evil in this area. Do not remain here any longer." Xiao said, adjusting the mask that hung at his waist. "And don't try to help." he added. 

                          
"I couldn't even if I tried." she chuckled bitterly as she stood up. There was something akin to sympathy in Xiao's eyes as he looked at her tenderly. The expression made her want to know more. Why did he look like he cared? Why was he suddenly sympathetic to her?

                          
"I'll leave." she said after an awkward, prolonged moment of silence. 

                          
"Wait." Xiao held her hand suddenly. She turned to look back at him. 

                          
"If you ever find yourself in trouble, do not hesitate to call out my name, Adeptus Xiao. I'll be there when you call." he said. Lumine nodded, a strange feeling in her chest. 

                          
And she felt somewhere in her heart that she would meet this man again.
