The light of the sun stretched from the window to the kitchen and you could feel it's warmth on your cheek. You gently lifted your eyelids and yawned before turning your head and opening your eyes fully.
Peter was lying there beside you with his arm wrapped around your shoulders. He slowly opened his eyes but when he saw you, you were bright red.
"Uh Peter? Did we fall asleep like this?" You ask sitting up.
"Yeah, yeah um you fell asleep and I knew you were tired so I didn't wanna wake you. Sorry." Peter says and you let a smile slip on your lips.
"It won't happen again I promise." He says which made you think. Did he not want to be close? Maybe it's just awkward. Who knows.
"It's ok. Imma get breakfast and then head down to the gym for a little bit." You jump up and head towards the kitchen.

Something didn't feel right, like an off feeling. Maybe it was just the weather. Or maybe it was from yesterday? Either way you needed to cheer yourself up so you went to go see Natasha and Scott.

"Hey, so how was your bring their dad to school day with Cassie?" You ask Scott who is sitting on the couch with a coffee.
"All good. She hasn't been too well lately and it was nice to see her happy. She's going off for a few days to get better. Which I was wondering do you think Tony would mind if she stayed here?" Scott asks.
"Yeah he won't mind." Natasha says grabbing her coffee off the counter and heading towards you both.

"Sorry to hear about Cassie though. Is it a tummy bug?" You ask starting to see Scott get a little bit upset.
"Well we don't know. But she gets tired easily and she complains of headaches. Also out of breath from even walking from the living room to the kitchen. I'm worried but my little girl can pull through." Scott says lightening the mood.
"She can stay with me while you go on that trip." You say smiling.
"That would be great. Thanks y/n."
"Hey, so are you coming to the board game night tonight?" You ask Scott.
"Nope, I'm busy helping Hope with some adjustments of the suit, which reminds me, I better go. She told me to bring sushi. See you sometime then." Scott says while setting his mug on the side table and heading off.

"Poor Scott. You can tell he's worried." Natasha says staring at the man walking off.
"Yeah but Bruce can always help if something is up." You say reassuringly.
"Yeah your right. Anyways, how was last night? I heard from Peter you were tired." Natasha asks.
"Yeah, but I feel better now, I slept really well." You say but there was a hidden meaning behind what you said.
"That's good. Well I'll see you at board game night?" Natasha asks.
"Yeah, I need to do some stuff before though."
"Ok well they all come back around 6 and we start at 8 so meet in the common room by then." Natasha says.

"There have been reports of a new sickness spreading rapidly across America and west Europe. 317 cases in total. Bruce and Tony are researching but the sickness does not spread from person to person. It seems to be very random but they suspect it to have something to do with genetics." Steve says while making the popcorn with you in the kitchen.
"Is it life threatening? Have people died?" you ask Steve curious.
"Maybe, not sure but right now they all need a break from life threatening things." Steve says while looking over at the team. "And besides, we always win in the end." Steve says sipping his beer.
"And if you don't?" You ask
"Well then there will only be 1 team to blame." Steve says in a serious tone.
"It wouldn't be their fault." You say comfortingly.
"Your right, it would be mine." Steve fiddles his fingers then looks up to the team laughing and drinking like a family.
"Steve, the pressure of the worlds fate is not in your hands."
"With our powers comes great responsibility."
"So wise Steve." You say mockingly.
"I'm not the one who said it." Steve states while looking over to Peter. Thor was trying to offer him a drink of a 3 litre beer. "It's an important thing to realise. A lot of powerful men don't do anything with that power except harm others or please themselves." Steve says. "But that's the difference between them and Tony. I got to hand it to the guy, although his is a pain in the ass-"
"Language Steve." You say interrupting him with a giggle.
"Haha very funny. He's a good guy and does what he thinks is right even if it's not." Steve says.
