Seperation

It's been a long time since you saw Peter. Its been months since Cassie and Scott passed. You, Natasha, Steve, Bucky, Vision and Wanda were all moved to Pakistan to handle the riots and housing issues due to the virus. You haven't called Peter, although you could, but you couldn't. Wanda would call Pietro to check up on everything and make sure he was safe. Pietro, Peter and Bruce were being kept in Wakanda for research and safer conditions. Bruce had found a way to detect who has the virus by samples of DNA which means it would be safer and could detect early stages of the mutation, however Peter found a loop which showed that the virus can't be stopped if it is imbedded into the DNA. Politics have been a mess with world leaders stepping down all across the globe and possibly even mutating. Laws had been enforced for no one to have children until the virus had been caught and Bruce found a way to prove that there was no chance of someone mutating. Riots of how some countries were handling finding out someone had early signs of mutation was on the rise. Almost every country had started putting guns to peoples heads, but some were housing in Shield protected prisions to keep people alive if they find a cure. It was every man for himself. Carol Danvers arrived and gave all the information she could which was the same as what Thor said, they had never seen this before. The Guardians of the Galaxy came and offered assistance as none of them were human, apart from Peter Quill who was half god so they were secure to help. They were handling Asia, which was a complete grave yard in the streets with people killing eachother left, right and centre.

Thor, Sam and Rhodey were at Head-quarters in the U.S., while Fury was running shield from the air carriers. Earth was a mess and Sheild was working with NASA to find a new home for anyone who has not been infected. Daisy Johnson and her team were out in space trying to find somewhere for people to inhabit until the virus has been dissolved. But it didn't look like it would for a long time. Or ever.
You spent your days mainly looking after children who had lost their parents and comforted them until they were eventually housed in a containment ward for children to keep them safe from mutations. There had been no reports of mutation in the ward which was a glimmer of hope. It was getting all the avengers through the past through months. Hope. There was a chance of rebuilding human life from these children.

You sat beside Wanda as she answered a call from Pietro. It was night in Pakistan, but for Wakanda it was morning.
''Hello Wanda. Where have you been, I called you like 5 times!'' Pietro sounded like a worried mother.
''Sorry Pietro I was clearing a riot. It's been a mess over here.'' Wanda says.
''Same here. Bruce has been working endlessly to find a cure but nothing yet.'' Pietro turns around as someone is laughing behind him. Peter and Shuri were laughing over who knows what, all you knew is that you were red-hot with jealousy. Wanda turns to you and sees your still face and smirks but feels your pain slightly.
''Ah, yes, Sis I would like to tell you something.'' Pietro turns and calls for Shuri to come over. She runs over and sits beside Pietro while Pietro throws his arm over her. They turn their heads to eachother and kiss infront of the camera. Wanda screws her nose up in disgust but you were relieved it wasn't Peter and Shuri kissing.
''Me and Shuri have been with eachother for a while now, I didn't know when would be a good time to tell you.'' Pietro chuckles while looking to Wanda.
''You could have told me without kissing on Facetime you know.'' Wanda says while giggling but happy to see her brother happy and not alone.
''Trust me Wanda, I've seen worse between these two than just a kiss.'' You hear someone say. You recognise the voice immediatley.
Wanda starts shouting and Pietro and Shuri go red with embarressment and you see his face look into the camera. You haven't seen him in ages. It was like looking at a photo of him except better. He was laughing at the joke he made and it warmed your heart to the point of heart burn. The camera didn't show your face so no-one knew you were there.
After everyone had calmed down from the dirty comment, Peter sat beside Pietro and asked how everyone was at Wandas side of the world, asking for everyone specifically apart from you. Then there was silence as obviously Wanda expected for you to be asked about but Peter didn't ask. Pietro looked to Peter who was looking at the floor trying to not make eye contact with anyone.
''How is y/n?'' Pietro asks and Wanda looks to you but you shake your head at her in indication that you don't want anyone to know your there.
''She's fine.'' Wanda says and you see Peter lift his head on the screen. ''She's looking after all the children who have lost their parents.''
''That's good.'' Pietro says as he looks to Peter who is zoned out.
You walked out of the room and walk past the camera. You close the door behind you and try not to cry as you go back to your room.
Peter noticed you in the camera and wiped his face with his hand and runs it through his hair as he gets up and leaves. Wanda and Pietro look at eachother and sigh.
