It's been a week since Peter came home hurt and cried in Michelle's arms. They never spoke about it again and Michelle knew that they have to. She could see how alone he felt about the whole superhero thing. He was all alone and didn't have anyone like him- who understands him- to talk to and that made her heart ache for him.

She was also constantly worry about him when he was out for a mission and she could handle that when he was being just the friendly neighbor spider-man, but she was always terrified when he had to face really dangerous things all alone. Yes he was superhuman but he was still human and he could die. And she can't lose him. Peter was the best thing that ever happened to her but she knew she couldn't ask him to stop being spider-man, she would never make him choose, she loves him too much to do this to him. So she tried to make peace with the fact that she will live constantly scared, wishing for him to always come back to her.

Michelle and Peter had already started looking for an apartment together and they had already few in mind. One specifically was the number one on their list because it was along their price range and it was near the NYU, so they will never have to run late in class. Also it was very beautiful and cozy. It had one big bedroom and a bathroom with a bathtub that was big enough for both of them to cuddle and a beautiful living room with big windows, so its always bright and sunny.

That night they were in Peter's couch drinking a hot cup of chocolate and trying to decide if they should just book the apartment and stop looking for others.

"I think we should just take it Peter, it's beautiful, sunny and most important affordable. If we both find a job, we will be able to pay the rent without worrying every month about it." she said and stood up and went to the kitchen to take something to eat. Peter followed her, drinking the last sip of his chocolate.

"yeah I think we should too, there is no point for looking anymore. Almost everything else we found was expensive and we definitely can't afford it, and I know May said she wants to help but I don't want to rely that much on her. She's been taking care of me her whole life; I think this is something we need to do alone." she looked at him and God she loved him. She loved how caring he is and how he doesn't want to be a burden to other people.

" I don't want May to pay for us either. It was our decision and we are practically adults. We can do this." Michelle said and gave him a peck on the lips.

"so tomorrow I will call them and told them that we want the apartment" he pulled her in and put his hands around her waist. "I can't believe we are actually doing this, feels like a dream Em" he said and gave her a soft kiss. He moved his lips to her neck and she sighed softly.

" I love you" she said and took his hand and lead him to his bedroom, closing the door behind them.

Peter

The next morning they went to see the apartment and sign the papers. It only took them one hour and after that they were holding their keys in their hands and both radiating happiness. Peter couldn't stop himself from smiling as he hold Michelle tight, with one arm around her waist as they walk down to the nearest convenient store to buy supplies so they can clean the apartment.

"Peter how we will afford the furniture thought? Because the apartment only has a couch." Michelle asked when they were in the store shopping

" uh...Happy said that he has some old furniture of...of Mr Stark and he can give them to us if we want. He said that no one is using them anymore. I was thinking that maybe we can..i don't know" having some of old Tonys things made Peters heart ache. But it wasn't a bad kind of pain. He wanted something to remind him of Tony. Having this old furniture seemed meaningless but ever since Happy told him, it warmed his heart.

Michelle looked at him with a soft smile on her face and with her shinny big brown eyes. "I would love that, so nice of Happy to do that. And I can see how much it means for you, so yeah lets go and pick some stuff we need"

Peter gave her the biggest puppy dog eyes and kissed her on the cheek, whispering thank you to her ear. He was so lucky to have her. You would have loved her Mr Stark, he though and he tried to hold back tears. Michelle noticed the change on his mood but she didn't say anything, she just held his hand and squeeze it softly. And it was all he needed.
