Am i jealous?

It was mid of November and Michelle with Peter had already found themselves in a beautiful everyday routine. They woke up every morning went to the university together and then to work and every night when Peter didn't have patrol they were sitting in their rooftop listening to music and just talking about their day. Their classes weren't always the same so they didn't spend that much time together during the day, but most of the nights were always together.

Michelle was getting used to Peter patrols, she was always worried of course but it got easier for her to cope with. Peter's nightmares didn't stop but now he was talking about them and she will always there for him to calm him down and ease his worries. Their life together was actually going amazing and Michelle was really happy.

Friday morning Michelle was waiting for Peter to finish his class so she can drive them home. It was their day off from work and she couldn't wait to spend the rest of the day with just him. She was waiting next to her car in the parking lot of the university when she saw Peter coming out of the building with a blonde girl walking next to him, shoving his arm and both laughing . She knew that girl, she had one common class with her, Gwen Stacy. And she knew her not because they talked or anything, but because Gwen was kind of popular in the university. She was blonde with big blue eyes and thick eyelashes that were covering her eyes, and she always wore a red lipstick that made her look so endearing. All boys were crazy about her - well not all- Michelle hoped.

" see you tomorrow Gwen" she heard Peter saying - tomorrow? Tomorrow was Saturday ?! - as he was leaving Gwen next to her car and was headed towards Michelle. Gwen looked at Michelle from where she was standing and gave her a small and weird? Michelle thought , smile.

" Hey beautiful, sorry I was late." Peter said and came close to her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

" how was your day?" he said but Michelle wasn't really listening because Gwen drove next to them looking at her from her car's window. She couldn't quite understand why she looked at her like that.

" earth to MJ!!! are you okay?" she heard Peter saying and she snapped out of whatever trance she was in.

" yeah...hi, I'm sorry, I was kinda spacy" she looked at him and gave him a peck on the lips.

" Michelle Jones was spacy? I don't believe that" he snorted

" shut up nerd" she said and left from his arms going to her drivers sit.

"so are you coming or?"

" yeah lets go home" Peter said and went inside the car. The driving home was silent and tense and Michelle knew she had to say something to break the tension but for some reason she was distracted enough thinking about the look in Gwen's eyes. It wasn't a friendly look that's for sure. So she decided to ask Peter the only thing she probably shouldn't.

" So, I didn't know that you and Gwen know each other and why you will meet tomorrow? Its Saturday " Peter looked her with a blank expression on his face.

"oh yeah we do, we have some classes together and now the professor paired us for a project. So we will have to meet tomorrow to start preparing. I thought i told you about that." Peter said

" you didn't" Michelle realized that she sounded defensive and she quickly tried to save it.

" I mean you told me you have a project you should finish until Christmas but you didn't tell me with who." She said and gave him a soft biased smile, while she was parking their car in their parking lot. Peter didn't say anything but he smiled and the look on his face was something Michelle couldn't really understand. He looked amused.
