Analyzing The Town || 3

{POV: Y/N 1}

I opened my eyes. I frantically glanced around the room, not knowing where I was. Then, I remembered. I was in my late grandpa's house on his farm. I shuddered at the idea of this being his. After all, he was dead and it probably still had his spirit engraved into it. I got out of bed and stepped onto the creaky hardwood floor beams.

I grabbed the remote and turned on the television. Hmm..  Weather Report.. Fortune Teller..  I chose the weather report.

"Welcome to KOZU 5... your number one source for weather, news, and entertainment. And now, the weather forecast for tomorrow...It's going to rain all day tomorrow."

Then, I turned on the Fortune Teller channel.

"Ah... I sense that a new viewer has joined us. A young man from... Stardew Valley? Welcome, welcome! Ah... yes, I can hear the spirits whispering something to me... The spirits feel neutral today. The day is in your hands."

Great. There's rain tomorrow.. all day. On the bright side, we won't have to water our crops. I got ready, and headed outside. Y/N 2 was already working on the farm.

"Hey."

{POV: Y/N 2}

After a couple hours of working on the farm, me and Y/N 1 walked around Pelican Town. I couldn't stop thinking about that guy from the bar. It feels like I'm going crazy without him.. I barely know him. Why is this happening?

{POV: Y/N 1}

Pelican Town is such a nice place. Stardew Valley is a great place in general. It did feel weird moving away from my hometown.. but it's nice to have a Fresh Start. Me and Y/N 2 were making our way to the beach, since Willy sent us a letter to come and see him. Apparently he has a gift for us.

I felt my feet dig into the sand, as the sound of the waves crashing against the shoreline become louder as we entered the beach. I glanced around the beach. I spotted the ocean, of course, the dock with Willy's Fishing Shop on it, a cabin, and some other things. 

I had always found the sound of ocean waves soothing, it used to put me to sleep. It was almost like a lullaby. Me and Y/N 2 stepped onto the dock, and walked over to Willy. He was fishing, and he had a pipe in his mouth.

I breathed in the salty beach air, and was ready for what he had to give.

"Ahoy there, farmers. Heard there were newcomers in town... Good to finally meet ya." He said, then turning to us. "Ah.. I'm still tryin' to unwind from a month out on the salty seas... It was a big haul! I sold lots of good fish. Finally saved enough to buy me a new rod."

He approached me. "Here, I want you both to have my old fishing rod. It's important to me that the art o' fishing stays alive. And hey, maybe you'll buy somethin' from the shop once in awhile."

Willy handed me the bamboo fishing rod. I was kinda confused why he didn't give Y/N 2 one. Oh.. I remember. He said he'd give it to the both of us, probably meaning we'll share it.

"There's good water here in the valley. All kinds o' fish." Willy stated. "Oh yeah. My shop's back open now, so come by if you need any supplies. I'll also buy what you catch. If it smells, it sells. Heh heh. That's what my ol' Pappy used to say, anyway."

We chatted for a few minutes, then finally leaving the beach and arriving back home. After changing, I plopped down in my bed. After awhile of thinking about what happened, my mind dozed off and I closed my eyes. Good night, Pelican Town.
