Aaaah, smell that fresh air? no? not my problem. I grab my bag from the boot(idk what ya'll call it) and throw it on my back, Ben took his out and made his way towards our mom. I jogged towards them with a smile on my face "So Benny, are you ready?"(hey that rhimes)" I guess so, Mom do I really have to go?" Ben whined
"Yes, you have to go. oh! and look at the time, the ferry will be leaving soon. now give your mother a hug" She said spreading her arms out, implying for us to hug her. I walked up to her and gave her a quick 3.7 second hug ,(what? don't you count your hugging time too, or is it just me?) while benny-boy gave her the longest hug in history.
" I don't wanna go." he said, voice muffled in our moms sweater "I know you don't, but you have to." Mom replied tearing Ben off of her, making him stumble a bit "Fine, bye Mom, love you!" he mumbled the last part walking off " Protect him for me, you know how he is. can I count on you?" she asked "Yea mom, don't worry, i'll bring him back in one piece." I replied "Ok, be safe. Love you." she said kissing me on the forehead softly " Love you too, see ya!" I said, waving and running to catch up with Ben. While boarding the ferry I noticed someone with pink hair filming a video 'Hey isn't that that one youtuber, whats her name?, i'm pretty sure it's broke lynn? nah it's brooklynn, yeah brooklynn and her brook-landers' i giggled softly, i'm not good at remembering names ok?
I jogged up to Ben who was applying sanitizer on his arms and face " Hey Ben-asaurus" I said. playfully punching his arm " Ouch!" he said holding his arm,not even the one I punched "Wrong arm genius " I mocked looking over his shoulder to see a boy with a small afro standing there reading a book "Hey he seems like your type of person. why don't you go talk to him?" I asked referring to the boy next to him.
"Why don't you go talk to her?" he replied pointing at a girl with a ponytail " Nuh-uh, you know i'm not good with people!" I whisper - shouted at him "You see? that's why I can't and won't go talk to him." he said sitting down on a chair, lathering his legs with hand sanitizer " touché" i said walking away from him, sitting down with my back against a wall near the corner of the boat. I pulled out my sketchbook and began drawing, until suddenly, a girl with short black hair and an australian accent came over to me and started speaking,
"Hey there! My name's Sammy! nice to meet 'cha!" i looked at her, shifting uncomfortably, closer into my corner "Oh, i'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare 'ya" she said taking a small step back "It's, it's fine." I replied softly. She gave me a wide smile looking down at me " Hey, what are you drawin'?" she asked looking at book in my hands. I gripped the book tightly, hugging it to my chest "It's nothing important." I said looking down a bit " Can i see ?" she asked " S-sure, i guess" I say as i open my book and give it to her ,to show her my drawings. She sits down, looking into the book i gave her in her hands...

"Holy cow! that's awesome!" she said, marveling at the picture "Well, its not quite finished yet so..." I mumbled softly, "Oh wow! I can i see some more?!" she asked looking at me wide eyed, full of enthusiasm, how could i say no? with my mouth "I'm sorry, but i need to go and check if my brother is okay" i said softly "I'm sorry, maybe next time" 'NO, not" maybe next time" NO never hopefully ' " oh ok, hope to see 'ya 'round!" she said, walking off to the other side of the boat. I let out a long , thankful sigh touching my head, gaining a slight headache.
I got up from my spot and walked slowly to Ben, passing by the spot that boy had just been standing, reading. I wonder where he is now. As i reached Ben, the speakers announced that we have arrived, to the island.I grabbed my back, shooting Ben a ' come on!' look. he rolled his eyes at me grabbing his backpack, putting it on slowly. We all walked off the boat, breathing in the fresh, dino ridden air.
