June 7, 2021 at 6 o'clock of the morning.

I suddenly woke up from the ringing sound of my alarm clock. Before I knew it, sunlight already shines directly to my closed eyes. My body feels like concrete cement were poured and dried into my arms and legs. Nonetheless, I stood up quickly knowing that it is the 1st day of class. Walking out of my room and heading downstairs, I saw my Mom readying our breakfast. She's cooking eggs and bacons, I knew it from the smell. My eyes still tired out of staying late night watching a show, I never noticed the chair right in front of me and casually collided with it, startling my Mom.

"Oh!" shouted in a high pitched voice.

"Good Morning." I said in usual monotone.

"Feeling dizzy again, huh?"

"Not really."

"You always sleep at what hour? 12:00? 1:00? You know that you have classes this day. Keep doing that and you'll die earlier than me!" her voice echoed in the kitchen room. Hell, it even muffled the cars outside.

This is my usual morning routine. Wake up, get sermoned, eat, repeat.

I took my towel and walked straight to the bathroom. Passing in our living room, I saw my 8 years old sister doing her thing. Playing with dolls on the floor. You know, child things.

After taking a bath and brushing my teeth, I immediately put on my uniform. It was a white polo shirt wore with striped blue and black patterned neck tie accompanied with navy blue jacket with white outlines on lapel. I put on my black pants. Looking at myself in the mirror, it seem that my uniform slightly made me look like having a fit frame, for I had growth spurts these last months and grew a couple inches taller. I put my notes and cellphone directly inside of my sling bag. Quite heavy honestly, considering it hold lots of paperworks inside.

Before leaving, my Mom gave me my allowance for the whole month. Knowing me, I'll probably spend it all after a week or two. Another merch has came this month, pretty sure I'd buy it the moment I see it.

But this is where my usual school day starts...

Strolling through the neighbourhood and finally getting in the bus stop at the end of the street, I was greeted by other teenagers a stare of surprise. Their eyes prying me with piercing look and the thought of a weird teen just beside them makes them look distressed and disturbed. Same to the adults behind me. They knew me and my what I did. Perhaps, I thought wrongly of their perspective and they actually do not care about me, but no, they knew and I knew too.

A bus is approaching. This will head directly to the gates of my school. Stepping on and seeing the vacant seat behind, I quickly sat on it and minded my own business by looking out the window. Seeing the seashore from here, the water is reflecting the light blue sky. Birds flying in unison. I wished to be a bird so I could not deal with people and their judgements.

I have a reputation on them. A mark that changed my view of the world.

My name is Virgil Astraea, the rank 1 student of Saint Willhelm University and is said to be the second coming of Socrates and Shakespeare combined. My whole life people always saw me as a walking brain rather than a human being. They treated me as a genius. Always held in an extremely high standard made me as someone who I am today. I almost never speak, for I always listen. That's how every day is to me. Most of my peers say that I am kind of heartless and somehow, apathetic. I am aware of it too. Behind this intellect and vast knowledge, I have one weakness.

I cannot relate to most things my same age is trending on. Things like socializing and intimacy never came to my mind. Preferring being alone, ignoring me is their best way to go. When I think of it, I surprisingly realized that I never had any meaningful conversations with anyone except my family. It's not like that I wanted it but anyways, still surprised. Aware of my situation but never saw it as a problem. I guess I am just built different than anybody else.
